1 2019 QUARRYMAN CHALLENGE SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES Thank you for your interest in supporting the Quarryman Challenge 10 Mile & 5K race in Lemont, IL. Race Day is set for May 11, 2019, with registration opening on January 1 st! Sponsors of this event have been instrumental in past event success and are greatly appreciated. Supporting the Quarryman Challenge is a win-win situation! Not only is it an excellent opportunity to showcase your business to a highly engaged demographic group, sponsoring the Quarryman assists with offering a premiere race like no other in the Chicagoland area. WHO PARTICIPATES IN QUARRYMAN CHALLENGE? The Quarryman Challenge is part of the Chicago Area Runners Association (CARA) Runners Choice Competitive Circuit and is marketed to a core list of approximately 5,000 area runners. The event has developed a great reputation as being one of the best, challenging and most unique road races in the Chicagoland area. Through various avenues, our broadcast and social network marketing reaches the greater Chicago running community in excess of 50,000 individuals. Over 750 racers participated in the event last year and the Quarryman has reported growing at a rate of approximately 10% per year and we project similar or larger growth in According to previous post-race surveys, 95% of all participants were satisfied with the event and said they would definitely or probably participate again and also would recommend the race to a friend. More than 80% of our racers come from within 20 miles of Lemont. More than one-fourth of our participants are interested in group training runs in Lemont and likely would patronize local businesses after the runs. More than one-third brought family members to watch the event.

Your business will receive the largest, most prominent placement in all race promotional and marketing materials such as various print pieces, banners, event website, race t-shirt and other items. To partner with the Quarryman as a Silver Sponsor, a $500 donation is requested and an item promoting your business that will be given to all racers (small trinket, coupon, etc.) or raffled at our post-race activities.
