2 For more than thirty years, the Croatian American Cultural Center of Sacramento has hosted the Croatian Extravaganza. The festival is the highlight of the Croatian American community in Northern California with thousands of people attending the event each year. Launched in 1982, the Extravaganza is a tribute to Croatians everywhere who have made their mark in the arts, civic, political and professional arenas. As one of California s most popular cultural and social events, Croatian Extravaganza celebrates the lively, festive traditions of the Croatian people, and promises good food, good entertainment and fun for all who attend. It is a European-style festival that has hosted topflight musical and cultural entertainment from the United States, Canada and Croatia over the years. Live entertainment and dancing go on late into the evening under the beautiful stars of the California sky. The festival is known for its wonderful food and many cultural activities throughout the day. One of the highlights of the festival is the annual Parade of Costumes, which is a procession through the festival grounds featuring historically accurate cultural clothing from various parts of Croatia. In addition, there is a spirited bocce ball tournament for those who would like to participate. The Croatian American Cultural Center extends a warm welcome to all and promises a very enjoyable celebration that is made special each year by the mingling of many cultures during the course of the weekend. Bring the whole family for a delicious barbecue dinner and a variety of other delicious Croatian Cuisine and pastries in our large park-like setting. Our bar features fine wine and imported and domestic beers, as well as a variety of specialty drinks. There is a children s play area available as well. This is a family friendly event with thousands attending over the weekend. It is an excellent opportunity for sponsors to be part of a wonderful event and gain access to this vibrant community. The Main stage is the center of the festival with people seated around it throughout the weekend. The outside bar and the food center are always filled with activity and people throughout the day and the night. Indoors we have additional seating along with activities throughout the day on the indoor stage.

4 The purpose of the Croatian Extravaganza is to promote and preserve Croatian culture. This includes the important mission of educating future generations of Croatian Americans and the general public about the important contributions that Croatian Americans have made to the United States of America. The host of the Croatian Extravaganza is the Croatian American Cultural Center of Sacramento (CACC). The CACC is a not-forprofit 501(c)4 organization. The festival is a labor of love for our organization and costs thousands of dollars to sponsor. Without our generous sponsors it would not be possible to put on such an elaborate festival for thousands of people each year. 5 Main Stage Sponsor $1, Croatian Extravaganza Sponsorship Schedule LOCATION SPONSOR The main stage sponsorship packet is the premier package of the festival. The sponsor receives prominent signage on the main stage and mention of its name with every activity that is conducted on the main stage. In addition, this sponsor receives a full page color ad in the Extravaganza booklet. BBQ Kitchen Sponsor $750 This sponsorship receives prominent signage over the main kitchen/service area. This provides maximum exposure to festivalgoers as they stand in line waiting to be served food. The sponsor also receives a half-page color ad in the festival booklet. Outside Bar Sponsor $500 This is the busiest bar location with many people lining up for drinks. The sponsor receives prominent signage over the bar throughout the festival. In addition, the sponsor receives a one-quarter page color ad in the festival booklet. Inside Stage Sponsor $500 The inside stage hosts slide shows, cultural events and other activities during the festival. It also is a popular place to hang out if it gets hot in the afternoon. In addition, the sponsor receives a one-quarter page color ad in the festival booklet. Various Sponsorships $250 each Inside Bar, Kids Play Area, Bocce Ball Tournament, Ticket Booth and Desert Station are all similar sponsorships. The sponsor will receive signage at the particular location as well as a business card size ad in the festival booklet. GENERAL SPONSOR The general sponsorships will receive a thank you by name in the general sponsor page of the festival booklet. Gold $200 Silver $150 Bronze $100 Patron $50 Supporter $25 CROATIAN EXTRAVAGANZA BOOKLET Every year, we print a program book (souvenir book) which is distributed to all Croatian Extravaganza guests at the door. Many sponsors put advertisements in the book, as the guests number in the thousands and the exposure is widespread. Many well-wishers also put in personal greetings as a show of support for the Extravaganza and its purpose of recognizing important Croatian members of our community.
