3 WHAT IS WEAPONS OF MASS CREATION? Weapons of Mass Creation has emerged as the premier art and design conference in the Midwest, generating comparisons to renowned events like TED and SXSW, but appreciated for its authentic, grassroots personality. Created in 2010 by Go Media, an Ohio City based design and web development studio, the event s momentum has continued to snowball. Founded by artists for artists, the WMC goal is simple. Create. Share. Inspire. Applauded for a dedication to education, WMC Fest is committed to providing opportunities for attendees to grow, both creatively and personally, through keynote speaker presentations, interactive workshops, thought-provoking panels, art wars, and more. This year, we re thrilled to be hosting the event at The Ohio Theatre in PlayhouseSquare - a vibrant hub of entertainment, dining, business development, and culture, as well as the largest performing arts center in the United States outside of New York. The venue selection and event schedule aims to give an incredible experience and the most value for attendees. And it s all right here in the heart of downtown, Cleveland, Ohio.
