1 ICAR-National Institute of Agricultural Economics & Policy Research (NIAP) DPS Marg, Pusa, New Delhi SWACHH BHARAT MISSION स वच छत ह स व to F.No: 30(12)/2014 Misc (NIAP) Date: Today we launched the Swachh Bharat campaign Swachhta Hi Seva in our institute premises at 12:00 Noon. Our Director Dr. Suresh Pal briefed the staff with the activities to be held in the Pakhwada week i.e., from to He encouraged the staff to actively participate in spreading the awareness related to Swachh Bharat Mission. After that we all along with our Director went outside our office premises and cleaned the campus surroundings in and outside. A brief account of the Swachh Bharat Campaign at NIAP is: : Launch of campaign Swachh Bharat Mission Anniversary : Celebration of Seva Divas 10:00a.m to 12 Noon. Every employee of the NIAP family will devote atleast 2 hrs. from their daily schedule for cleaning the campus area : Celebration of Samagra Swachhta Divas by Shramdan. Every employee will take out some time out of their daily routine to initiate in spreading awareness over sanitation around such areas where such facility is needed : Sarwatra Swachhta Employees will carry out the work of cleaning the surroundings of the NIAP campus : Swachhta of nearby tourists spots Every employee will take an initiative to clean nearby important tourist spots : Award Ceremony To recognise and appreciate the work of outstanding performers during Swachhta Abhiyaan.

Our NIAP employees along with Director Dr. Suresh Pal devoted 2 hrs. out of their schedule in planting saplings of trees in the compound and cleaned and swept the entire premises of the institute. Further after these activities Director NIAP discussed the points about next Swachhta Activity which will be Shramdan in a brief meeting.

Our NIAP employees along with Director Dr. Suresh Pal devoted 2 hrs. out of their schedule in cleaning the nearby surroundings like Janak Vihar bus stand & the main road. Further after these activities Director NIAP discussed the points about next Swachhta Activities which will be Swachhta of nearby Tourist spot and the Public function/award Ceremony to be held on and respectively.

Our NIAP staff along with our Director Dr. Suresh Pal took out some time out of our daily schedule and went to India Gate to promote our Sawarta Swachhta motive. Over there we cleaned a specific area, also we wore T-shirts and Caps with our motive printed on it so as to spread the message of Swachhta. The following pictures shows our efforts

We devoted our time to number of activities during these days. On a Award Ceremony was oraganised in our institute to appreciate the work of all those NIAP employees with whose efforts the Swachh Bharat Pahkwada was been successful. Employees who devoted most of their time in planning, organising and scheduling all certain activities that allowed us to become a part of this cleanliness campaign. This was the final activity of this Swachh Bharat Pakhwada. Director Dr. Suresh Pal praised the active participants for their optimistic participation and motivated the rest of the staff for keeping in mind the moto for future behind our efforts during this campaign.
