4 Deadlines A signed contract must be on file before ad will run. Verbal instructions regarding advertising are treated as a tentative space reservation, which will be cancelled if a written contract is not received by the 1st of the month preceding publication. If new artwork is not received by the materials deadline, the publisher reserves the right to repeat the most recent insertion, and the advertiser agrees to pay for such insertions. 7 Contract Terms and Conditions Rate Protection Publisher agrees, in the event of a rate increase, to protect rate of the advertiser for the duration of this contract. Submission of Insertion Orders and Contracts Contracts/insertion order, indicating name of publication, advertiser, insertion date, ad size, identification of ad, color specs, plus any other special instructions must be received by the deadline noted in the current media kit. Verbal instructions regarding advertising placement will be treated as a tentative space reservation which will be canceled if a written contract is not received by the deadline date. Unacceptable advertising Advertisements simulating editorial style or matter are not acceptable. Publisher reserves the right to reject any advertising on the basis of form, content, or unavailability of space. Disclaimer With the exception of official announcements, the publisher and staff disclaim all responsibility for opinions expressed and statements made in articles or advertisements published in the magazine. All advertisements are accepted and published upon the representation that the agency and/ or advertiser is authorized to publish the entire contents and subject matter thereof. The agency and/or advertiser agrees to indemnify and save the publisher harmless from any loss resulting from claims or suits for defamation, libel, violation of the right of privacy, plagiarism, and copyright infringement. Re-publishing Previous Insertion Advertiser agrees that when advertising materials do not arrive at the office of the publisher by the specified materials deadline closing date as listed in the current media kit, the publisher may repeat publication of the most recent copy published, provided this contract calls for current issue advertising space. In such case, advertiser agrees to pay for such insertions. Cancellations Cancellation orders must be received in writing on or before the materials deadline, or advertising will run as scheduled. Advertiser agrees to pay the regular ad rate. Contract Termination This contract shall not be invalidated by omission of advertising materials, nor shall the publisher be liable for any damages or loss that may accrue from errors or omissions in any advertisement printed in excess of the amount charged by the publisher for that advertisement. In the event a multiple-insertion contract under protected rates is shortened or cancelled for any reason, the advertiser will be short-rated to the rate earned. Advertiser or his representative agrees to pay the difference between the rate charged and the rate earned, first responsibility for payment falling to advertiser. Payments Bills are payable upon receipt. Initial bills will be mailed to advertising agencies, when applicable; if unpaid within 30 days, copies of subsequent bills will also be sent to the advertiser. No third insertion will run before two prior insertions are paid in full. The publisher reserves the right to cancel the contract at any time upon default by the agency/advertiser in the payment of bills. Upon such cancellation, all unpaid charges, including short rates, shall become immediately due and payable. In the event of nonpayment, the publisher reserves the right to hold advertiser and/or agency jointly and severally liable for such monies as are due and payable to the publisher. Advance Payment Advertiser and/or agency agrees that the publisher shall have the right, in its sole discretion, to require as a condition precedent to performance of any or all of the publisher s duties under this contract, the payment in whole or in part of the amounts due the publisher under this contract. No failure to exercise this said right shall constitute a waiver thereof, and no waiver thereof shall be effective unless in writing and signed by or on behalf of the publisher. Error or Omissions If any error, or omission of, an advertisement occurs due to the fault of the publisher, publisher will make additional insertions of the advertisement equal in number to the number of advertisements omitted or in which error occurred, without additional cost to the advertiser. Publisher s liability for any such error or omission is limited to the foregoing agreement to reinsert the advertisement. Attorney s Fees Advertiser and/or agency agrees that in the event the publisher shall retain legal counsel to enforce its rights under this contract, the publisher shall be entitled to recover from the advertiser and/or agency in addition to any other sums due, the reasonable fees and expenses of said legal counsel, including appellate attorneys fees if any interest charges. Signed Contracts, Letters of Agreement to Purchase and Insert Orders Equal Agreement In addition to above terms, this contract is subject to the terms and conditions appearing in the current media kit for. The publisher will not be bound by any conditions, printed or otherwise, appearing on any insertion order or contract when they conflict with the terms and conditions listed herein. Any document authorizing advertising materials insertion in indicates complete and total agreement with and full understanding of the terms and conditions of this contract. Contract is not valid until accepted by the publisher.

8 Digital Advertising Website Advertising Promoting your products and services on the website is a fresh, effective approach to communicating with the targeted audience your business desires to reach. Advertisements on must run a minimum of three consecutive months. Advertising can begin on any day in any month. Once a company begins advertising on the website, they will be given the option of renewing their particular location for future three-consecutive-month intervals. Payment-in-full is due at time of the order. nonmembers do not qualify for the member rate. Three pricing tiers for Associate Members: Homepage Slider Ads cost $200 per week. Homepage Slider Ads are exclusive to one advertiser per advertising agreement, which requires a minimum of two weeks. These ads run in the second position on the slideshow. Premium Ads at the top of the Homepage, to the right of the Homepage, and on the Calendar page, and Job Bank page cost $250 per month. Three-month minimum advertising agreement required.
