The overall purpose of the C.H.I.L.L. Safe Zone initiative is to help keep residents safe, regardless of race, gender or social status. This program is designed to help stabilize communities and also help law enforcement agents catch criminals, protect our veterans, senior citizens, children from sexual predators, as well as those with mental health issues. The C.H.I.L.L. Safe Zone program also helps restore the confidence back in the community and establish new relationships with homeowners, churches, schools and small businesses located in high crime areas throughout the city and abroad for stronger economic growth locally and even statewide. C.H.I.L.L. Safe Zone signs can also be purchased as a tax deductible donation to help keep this program active. Supporters are asked to post signs in homes, RV s and on buildings for more visible awareness to help detour crime which leads to a safer neighborhood. Today the firearm and homicide rate amongst teens and black males between the ages of is 170 versus 30 for white males of the same age, almost 6 times higher. According to Downtown Community Television Center, Milwaukee County is considered one of the most dangerous, poorest and segregated cities for blacks and whites in the United States. C.H.I.L.L. Safe Zone Contributions A large portion of proceeds will go toward helping purchase, and install more surveillance cameras with 24hr monitoring services to help protect children playing at local parks & play grounds from drive by shootings, sexual predators etc. Help a family who has been victimized by gun violence who can t afford to pay for burial costs, or help them purchase a headstone for their loved one. Placement of C.H.I.L.L. Safe Zone signs at parks to detour crime, and avoid automobile accidents involving small children and pedestrians. 2
