8 EVENTS In 2014, Vanguard launched two successful events to encourage dialogue between government and industry focussing on driving innovation and creativity to leverage technology as a growth opportunity business and economic development. C4ISR and Beyond Date: Spring Location: Ottawa In the era of sequestration, Vanguard brings together stakeholders to create meaningful dialogue about C4ISR requirements to gauge future spending. A reverse industry day format focuses on DIALOGUE between key suppliers in critical C4ISR posts with DND in a panel environment. Discussions will be around trends and technologies as well as examining how Canada can best leverage the emerging capacity for defence and create an environment for future discussion. Shipbuilding Technology Forum Date: Fall Location: Ottawa The National Shipbuilding Association in collaboration with Vanguard magazine are organizers of the Shipbuilding Technology Forum.
