These events serve as an essential appeal for funds so our organization can pursue our mission to help as many animals as we can. While CHS cares for over 7,700 surrendered, abused and neglected animals annually, we would never be able to do it without the support of our sponsors and donors. We at CHS understand that Calgary is facing challenging economic times and would like to acknowledge this with our sponsors. 5 2016 a fundraising walk + festival for you and your furry friend EVENT DETAILS: Saturday, June 4 th, a.m. 2 p.m. South Glenmore Park West End 2016 Goal Dog Owners and their Pooches Held annually in June, Dog Jog is one of Calgary Humane Society s signature fundraising events and is crucial for raising funds to support the thousands of animals in need that are cared for at CHS each year. The family-friendly, non-competitive walk/run is a unique event where you and your canine friend can participate and help raise awareness, and funds for Calgary Humane Society. The course kicks off from the west end of South Glenmore Park. From here the route follows city pathways along the Glenmore reservoir. The Barkingville Marketplace provides vendors an opportunity to interact with attendees, as they grab a bite to eat and shop our vendor area for the latest in toys, treats, and equipment for their pooch. Take in a behaviour demonstration, let the kids burn off some steam in the Kid s Zone, or just relax and enjoy the day. Dog Jog 2016 has something for everyone!
