3 Welcome Note Dear Colleagues, As president of the Gulf Chapter, it gives me a great pleasure to welcome you to the Gulf Chapter of the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists, the first Clinical Congress and Gulf Chapter Annual Meeting to be held in Abu Dhabi, UAE on 3-5 th of October, A total of annually recurring 18 CME hours is accredited, which are arranged as state of the art lectures, plenary sessions and clinical practice symposia. The sessions will cover major updates and state-of-the art presentations in the fields of endocrinology, diabetes and metabolism delivered by international and regional keynote speakers. More than 800 healthcare professionals are expected to come from the Middle East and GCC region. This should bring together international and local expertise to diabetes management and endocrinology, and promoting better practice in diabetes and endocrinology care in the Gulf region. Gala Dinner Group Registration Tickets for the Gala Dinner can be requested up to one week before the conference at a rate of 250 AED Companies that would like to sponsor a group of delegates attending the conference may do so by using the special group registration fee. A group consists of a minimum of 10 persons. Plenary Satellite Symposium (Platinum) Exclusive support of a Satellite Symposium in 2-3 Parallel Halls of up to 90 minutes. (Program subject to approval of the Congress Scientific Committee) Timing: Thursday the 3 rd of October, 2013, after hours. 16 Sponsorship Guidelines Exhibition Booth In order to ensure a hassle-free exhibition area assembly and sponsoring companies satisfaction we require from all sponsors to provide us with snapshots of their exhibition stands for pre-approval. Upon finalising DiaEdu will allocate the floorplan accordingly to gurantee maximum view of the exhibition areas to all delegates. Note: All sponsors are required to be compliant with the exhibition areas allocated to them in relation to their sponsorship tier privelages. Event Registration ECME provides a sponsors lounge where upon logging in companies will be able to view their registered delegates and obtain all conference relevant information including the location map, conference program, hotel information and conference floorplan containing their dedicated area of exhibition. Note: All sponsorsing companies obtaining free delegate passes will be given a dedicated link with a username and password.
