These advertisements will run in 20 cities from the marketing target park list. Intended source (vendor, contractor): Screenvision Direct, Inc. Price: $46, Justification for single source acquisition (what is necessary and unique about the product, service or source; steps taken to confirm unavailability of competition, as appropriate): This request is to procure advertising to promote the Florida State Parks. Advertising purchase will allow the Office of Operations to assist the Division of Recreation and Parks in fulfilling responsibilities under Section , Florida Statutes. The services required are the airing of Florida State Park 30-second advertisements at movie theaters in 20 cities selected from the marketing target park list. Screenvision Direct, Inc. (Screenvision) is the only provider of cinema advertising commercials by which Florida State Parks can purchase advertising at theaters in the cities with state parks selected from the target list. Research of potential cinema advertising vendors concluded that Screenvision is the only provider for all of the cities and target parks selected. The Department advertised this single source request on the DMS Vendor Bid System (VBS) from Monday, March 7, 2016 through Thursday, March 17, Approved By (names & titles, as appropriate, e.g., requestor, requestor management, information systems, budget, purchasing, DMS approver): Donna Williams, Office of Operations Heather Shuke-Nelson, Office of Operations Rebecca D.
