2 Who are the Crawdads? The Hickory Crawdads are the South Atlantic League affiliate of the Texas Rangers. The 2013 season will mark the Dads 21 st season of providing the area s top affordable family FUN at L.P. Frans Stadium. The Crawdads have enjoyed three straight winning seasons, along with two playoff appearances in the past three years.
