2 Introduction Paget Rangers Football Club has entered an exciting new era of professionalism both on and off the pitch, this has been epitomised with the appointment of former professional footballer, Jason Lanns, as our first team manager. Founded in 1938, Paget Rangers won the league and cup double in their first season. This is where our heritage and history began, something we are immensely proud of, and something we are looking to add to as we embark upon a new era of optimism as we strive to push this club to the pinnacle of non-league football within the Midlands conurbation. These days we have an ambitious ten year club development plan and we all share the same ambition to drive our club forward professionally, commercially and socially. Paget Rangers were the first Midland Combination Football Club to install floodlights, with over 2,000 spectators witnessing the unveiling against Aston Villa. The Bears were the first winners of the Midland Football Alliance in 1994/95. Paget were the first club to establish Saturday football on Castle Vale in In 2014 Paget Rangers became the first non-league club to sponsor slum teams in Delhi to establish Paget s under 8s and under 15s in the Delhi Youth League. Finally in 2015 Paget Rangers became the first Midland Football League club to have a match broadcast with live commentary via Switch Radio 107.5FM, a partnership which will see live commentary from most Paget Rangers games throughout the 2016/17 season.
