8 SUBMISSIONS & PAYMENT 2018 Advertising Deadlines Ad are due on the 21st of the month prior to the contracted month. For example: ads contracted to run for the month of June will be due on May 21st. Advertising Submissions Ad submissions are due the month prior to publication, please follow the schedule above. If you require an extension for your submission, please Submitting Camera-Ready Ads Submit ads & directory listings via with your business name and the month the ad will run in the subject line to Please attach (rather than embed) your file. Ads may be submitted as PDF, EPS, TIFF, or JPEG files; minimum resolution 300 dpi; CMYK color space (no RGB or Pantone). We do not accept Quark, Adobe PageMaker, Microsoft Publisher, PowerPoint, or Works files. Ad Design Services If you need the Upstater production department to design your display ad, please submit your ad materials to as soon as possible and definitely by the deadline written above. Include your logo, ad copy, and any photos you wish to include in the ad. Make sure your logo and photographs are high resolution (minimum resolution 300 dpi). A proof will be sent to you prior to magazine publication, and you will have time to make revisions if need be. The sooner materials are submitted, the sooner you will receive your proof, and the more time you will have to make changes. Payment Terms Payment is required with a signed contract prior to ad publication. Credit cards will be billed on the space reservation deadline listed above. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express. Check, money order, or purchase order acceptable pending credit approval. The liability of the Publisher for any error for which the Publisher can be held legally responsible will not exceed the cost of the advertising space. Cancellation of space reservations by the Advertiser must be one month prior will result in a retroactive short-rate fee to adjust rate to the open rate. Advertiser owns or controls all intellectual property rights to the advertisement and agrees to indemnify and hold Luminary Media, Inc., its agents, and assignees harmless from all liabilities, claims, losses, or damage of any kind arising out of the publication of any advertising submitted to Luminary Media, Inc., on behalf of the Advertiser. Contents of all advertisements are subject to the Publisher s approval. The Publisher reserves the right to reject or cancel an advertisement or insertion order, and to insert the word advertisement above or below an ad.
