2 Anniversary Gala In 1975, the National Italian American Foundation was formed for the promotion for Italian culture and to ensure people of Italian heritage had a voice in this nation. For over 40 years, NIAF has recognized Italian and Italian American achievements in business, art, science, finance, music and medicine. It promotes the importance of family that exists in the Italian American community and has nurtured a strong friendship with Italy and Italians throughout the world. Most importantly, NIAF has provided scholarships and assistance to Italian American youth to ensure that these accomplishments continue. Sponsors at all levels have the opportunity to place a full-page ad in the printed in the glossy, keep-sake Anniversary Gala Journal that s distributed at each table during the Gala Awards Dinner. All sponsors also submit an Electronic Ad that to be displayed in digital presentations during the Gala Weekend; on the giant ballroom screens during the Gala Awards Dinner; and on NIAF s website during the year following the Gala. Q: Who makes the sponsorship ads? Sponsors are responsible for having their ads made and submitted by the announced deadline. Q: What do typical sponsorship ads look like? Most ads are designed by professional graphic artists. Some are self-made and simple. Most congratulate one or more of the Gala honorees and express support for NIAF. We receive both personal and corporate ads; the company ads usually incorporate a logo and basic information from brief promotional text to website url.
