2 TASTE OF ARLINGTON OVERVIEW Arlington s premier food festival now in its 30th year will feature 50 restaurants and food trucks, dozens of craft brew and fantastic local cover bands. It is always held on the third Sunday in May along Wilson Boulevard from noon to 6pm. Proceeds of Taste of Arlington benefit BallstonGives and the Arlington Food Assistance Center (AFAC). 2

3 BALLSTON BID AND BALLSTONGIVES The Ballston BID is focused on creative, innovative and dynamic opportunities for learning, networking and collaborating that leverage the unique combination of research, education, non-profit and corporate organizations in Ballston. The Ballston Business Improvement District s own charitable subsidiary, BallstonGives, manages and produces Taste of Arlington. 3

4 BALLSTONGIVES & AFAC RAISING AWARENESS AND FUNDS FOR THE ARLINGTON FOOD ASSISTANCE CENTER AFAC VOLUNTEERS AFAC recruits volunteers from its database and the community Over 300 volunteers sign up Through BallstonGives, the Ballston BID donates $50 for each volunteer resulting in over $60,000 to AFAC since the inception of this partnership. 4
