Our special guests this year will include several Masters of the ATA from inside and outside of Louisiana and our Very Special Guest will be Senior Master Mark Sustaire. We are expecting about 1000 competitors and over 1800 spectators. With many events this size, there will be lots of preparation needed to make it run smoothly. This will not be possible without your support. There are so many ways that you can help. First, we would like to see all students compete in the tournament. Additionally, you can assist in deferring costs through corporate or individual sponsorships. And, as always, we can use your help the day of the event. As in the past, we are not asking for your help just for the benefit of our tournament but also for your own benefit! We will be giving away prizes to those families that help with getting sponsorships (FREE ADMISSION; FREE T-SHIRTS; FREE TOURNAMENT COMPETITION, EVEN GIFT CERTIFICATES TOWARDS SCHOOL MERCHANDISE). Along with this letter, you will find an explanation of sponsorships, and fund raising prizes. Remember this is "OUR TOURNAMENT" and it will take all of us to make it a successful one. We are expecting about 1000 competitors and over 1800 spectators. In order to host an event of this magnitude, it is essential that we have community support. This is where we need your business help. To raise money for our event we are asking local businesses to consider a donation or sponsorship to help defray some of the costs and to make the event an unforgettable one for the Baton Rouge Community and the ATA.
