1 MARK LANDER CONTACT Raised in a small Pennsylvania town, educated in Philadelphia, and a New Yorker ever since, I have the sensibility of a country boy and the tenacity of an urbanite. With over 20 years work experience, I offer exceptional customer focus, project management expertise, an eye for design, and technical troubleshooting know-how. For over a decade I operated an independent, full-service marketing agency, providing print, web, and social media services to small businesses. I managed projects, client expectations, production deadlines, media assets, and business operations. Concurrently I served as events and marketing manager for a local nightlife venue where I produced marketing campaigns, sourced photographers, designed layouts, and distributed media assets in an effort to reverse declining revenue. I m a creative and technical problem solver, so looking for a new experience, I became a Genius. At Apple, I troubleshoot software and hardware problems, repair devices, and reassure anxious customers. I have been recognized for my ability to conceive and implement systems that streamline processes. I have a knack for learning on the fly and face ambiguity with aplomb. And I ve earned customer praise highlighting my patience, composure, and ability to explain technical issues in plain language. 2 CHERRY FUND KALEIDOSCOPE Every spring, when the cherry blossoms are in peak bloom, The Cherry Fund brings HIV awareness to Washington, D.C. with The Cherry Party, a weekend-long musical event known for its marquee of international DJs. The theme in 2018 was Kaleidoscope which resonated with my inner geek the ads needed to appear though a kaleidoscope. 4 CHERRY FUND OPULENCE In 2016, Dexter Design was awarded the assignment of creating a campaign to help elevate the profile of this renowned local benefit to a national event status. 7 OPULANCE AVATARS Each event gets it s own design treatment. Here, that treatment was extended to create Avatars for each DJ to promote on social media.

8 PINES PARTY Dexter Design was hired to produce the marketing materials for the 2015 Pines Party: Emerald City. This magical event takes place on the beach of Fire Island Pines in Long Island, NY, and attracts over 2,500 patrons. Proceeds benefit The Fire Islands Pines Property Owners Association for community improvements and The Stonewall Foundation which supports gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgendered initiatives. Our contributions to the Emerald City event helped drive an increase in ticket sales by 40% (vs ticket revenue). EMERALD CITY BACKGROUND

9 PINES PARTY The project initially called for a total of four ads that featured local residents and personalities who portrayed well-known characters from the Wizard of Oz. The community s reception to our Emerald City marketing was so positive that additional ads were requested for the campaign. The final ad, originally envisioned as a single-page, evolved into a two-page spread. This provided us with the opportunity to truly bring our vision to life through a grand scene that became the cornerstone image for the the event. 12 METROLASER When Philadelphia s MetroLaser needed to replace its outdated Flashbased website they turned to Dexter Design. We relaunched the site as a single-page web application long before the design pattern became the standard. Since the site s inception, we ve helped MetroLaser grow into a regional, multi-location provider of laser and esthetic services. 16 NVRLND Word-of-mouth is the best advertising. As such, Dexter Design s client list is heavy with nightlife advertising. When Chicago s NVRLND resident designer was unavailable, they turned to us to produce this religionsthemed campaign. 18 G LOUNGE For over a decade, I served as the events and marketing manager for G Lounge, a New York nightlife venue where I led marketing and event strategy. I increased sales by introducing themed parties and events that required high-quality marketing materials. I conceived marketing campaigns, sourced photographers and models, completed post production designs, and distributed media assets. BRAND IDENTITY Developed a consistent brand identity. PRIDE LUAU For 8 seasons, we transformed the lounge into a tiki bar for Gay Pride. This allowed us to use pride colors in a theme that was summery and not found at other venues in the city.
