3 WHY THE EVENT: There are 32,000 MORE BLACK WOMEN in Canada than black men Black women have come a long way in our country and are now in all walks of life: politician, judge, lawyers, doctors, business owners, entrepreneurs, teachers, public servants, nurses, engineers, professors, sport s champions, entertainers, executives etc. Their efforts and accomplishments need support to come out of the shadows to keep impacting many generations, families, corporations and society. Young black girls need models, education, empowerment and inspiration.
