2 Regional Grouper Hatchery Production Training Course Started in 2002 Five training courses were organised 82 people from 19 countries trained Success outcomes from Australia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Maldives, Palau, Singapore, Thailand & Vietnam Regional grouper hatchery production training course The objective of the training course to disseminate the grouper hatchery technology that has been developed by various institutes and projects in the region Australian Centre for International Agriculture Research (ACIAR), Research Institute for Mariculture-Gondol (RIM-Gondol), and Technical Implementation Units of the Directorate General of Aquaculture (DGA) The training is focused on small-scale hatchery system for multiple marine finfish, it can also be adopted by medium- & large-scale The training course is jointly organized by Situbondo Brackishwater Research and Development Centres and NACA Training sponsors and support organizations include ACIAR, Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries, Indonesia (RIM-Gondol & DGA), NACA, Skretting Asia (Nutreco s global aquafeed division) 2
