Location: Statewide Crop/Site/Commodity: Target PestProblem: Transplanted Bell and Non-Bell Peppers (For use only between plant beds (hrrows)). Mallow (Common, Little) Dosage: Apply up to 4 ounces of product per acre with a shield or hooded sprayer to furrows (area between raised beds) before trans. Dilution Rate: Use a minimum of 10 gallons of water per acre. This product can only be applied in the furrows, between raised beds that are at least 4 inches higher than the furrow bottoms. 2. Spray.must remain between raised beds and contact no more than the bottom 1 inch of the side of the raised bed. 3. Do not apply to bed top surface. 4. Do not apply more than 4 ounces of product per acre during a single application. 5. All applications must be made with shielded or hooded spray equipment. 6. Injury can occur if soil particles treated with this product are blown or splashed onto the crop. 7. Tank Mixing - A registered preemergence grass herbicide may be added for control of additional grassy weeds. For control of emerged weeds, tank-mix of this product with paraquat, glyphosate, or other registered burndown herbicide. Refer to tank mix partner label for recommended rate and application parameters. 8. Tank Cleanout - Refer to product container label for tank cleanout procedures. A tank cleaner specifically designed for this product may be purchased through your local dealer. 9. Rotational Crop Restrictions for Furrow Use. Multi-Crop Culture: Once this product is applied to furrows, only a registered crop may be transplanted to undisturbed beds within 30 days of application. However, once 30 days has passed from the ct application, an unregistered crop maybe planted back to the same undisturbed bed. 1f bed is removed and soil is rebedded, follow rotational restrictions listed below:

READ AND UNDERSTAND THESE CONDITIONS AND RISKS OF USE FOR SPECIAL LOCAL NEED BEFORE USING THE PRODUCT ON THE CROP. This product is available for use in the manner described in this Supplemental Labeling on the basis that, in the sole opinion of the user, the benefits and utility derived from the use of the Product on the Crop outweigh the potential risk of Crop injury, Crop yield reduction or Crop loss. The decision to use this Product in the manner described in the Supplemental Labeling must be made by each individual user on the basis of anticipated benefits versus (i) the potential risk of Crop injury, Crop yield reduction and Crop loss, (ii) the severity of the target pest infestation, (iii) the cost and availability of alternative pest controls and (iv) any other relevant factors. By purchasing the Product for use, or using the Product, in the manner described in this Supplemental Labeling, you acknowledge and accept that, to the extent permitted by Law: (I) you assume all risk of Crop injury, Crop yield reduction and Crop loss; (2) Valent does not make, and does not authorize any agent or representative to make, any representations or recommendations regarding the use of this Product on the Crop other than. the statements on this Supplemental labeling; (3) Valent does not make, and does not authorize any agent or representative to make, any warranties, express or implied, with respect to the use of the Product on the Crop and disclaim all warranties, expressed or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability; (4) Valent disclaims all liability for any damages, losses, expenses, claims or causes of actions arising out of or relating to Crop injury, Crop Yield reduction andlor Crop loss; (5) these Conditions and Risks of Use for Special Local Need supersede any contrary representations or recommendations by Valent, or its respective agents or representatives, and any provisions in or on any Product literature or labeling including any provisions on the label affixed to the Product container. If these Conditions and Risks of Use for Special Local Need are not acceptable, the unopened Product may be returned to the seller for a refund or used for a different labeled use in accordance with the label affixed to the Product container. These Conditions and Risks of Use for Special Local Need are required by Valent and are not specified by the US EPA or the State of California.

5 July 18, Page 5 Valid until withdrawn, suspended or cancelled by the United States Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA), the manufacturer, the 24(c) registrant, or the Department of Pesticide Regulation. All applicable directions, restrictions, and precautions on the USEPA-registered label for Chateau Herbicide SW (EPA Reg. No ) and this label are to be followed. This labeling must be in the - possession of the user at the time of pesticide application. The County Agricultural Commissioner's (or designee's) signature must be obtained prior to this use. This does not constitute a recommendation of the Department of Pesticide. Regulation and will not prevent quarantine action if illegal residues are found on or in the crop. To the extent consistent with applicable law, neither the Department nor the county agricultural commissioner, makes any warranty of merchantability, fitness of purpose, or otherwise, expressed or implied, concerning the use of a pesticide in accordance with these provisions. The user andlor grower acknowledge the preceding disclaimer. Do not use in mixture with other pesticides unless provided for in the labeling.
