2 Introduction CEDO is a membership agricultural enterprise in central Uganda that begun as a community seed producing group focusing on Engaging members in bean seed production, collective marketing and sale to seed processors In 2007 CIAT accessed CEDO 8gms of ROBA1 biofortified beans for multiplication, current production at 80tons In 2010 registration as a seed company after acquisition of processing equipment from LWR National research provides bean crop agricultural technology support and foundation seed materials Support from public partnership involves; access to breeder seed, links to premium markets, extension advice, training, confidence building 2

4 Model Description Support small holder farmers to access, quality affordable bean seed materials and produce sustainably to earn an income while ensuring food & nutrition security.
