1 P GYRO PLANT GROWTH REGULATOR MAPP An emulsifiable concentrate formulation containing 250g/L (25.5 % w/w) trinexapac-ethyl. GYRO is a plant growth regulator for crop height reduction, which can control lodging giving yield protection in winter and spring wheat, winter and spring barley, winter and spring oats, rye, triticale, durum wheat and grassland seed crops. If on skin: wash with plenty of soap and water. If skin irritation or rash occurs: get medical advice/attention. Take off contaminated clothing and wash before re-use. Wash contaminated clothing before reuse. If in eyes: rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. 3 SAFETY PRECAUTIONS Operator Protection Engineering control of operator exposure must be used where reasonably practicable in addition to the following Personal Protective Equipment: WEAR SUITABLE PROTECTIVE CLOTHING (COVERALLS), SUITABLE PRO- TECTIVE GLOVES AND FACE PROTECTION (FACE SHIELD) when handling the concentrate. WEAR SUITABLE PROTECTIVE GLOVES when handling contaminated surfaces. However, engineering controls may replace personal protective equipment if a COSHH assessment shows they provide an equal or higher standard of protection. AVOID ALL CONTACT WITH EYES. WASH HANDS before meals and after work. Environmental Protection Do not contaminate water with the product or its container. Do not clean application equipment near surface water. Avoid contamination via drains from farmyards and roads. Storage and Disposal KEEP IN ORIGINAL CONTAINER tightly closed in a safe place. RINSE CONTAINER THOROUGHLY by using an integrated pressure rinsing device or manually rinsing three times. Add the washings to the sprayer tank at time of filling and dispose of safely. All instructions within this section must be carefully read in order to obtain safe and successful use of this product. Restrictions 1. Do not overlap spray swaths. 2. Avoid spray drift onto neighbouring crops. 3. Only use on crops that are at risk of lodging. 4. Do not apply if rain or frost is expected, if the crop is wet, if crops are under stress or crops suffering from waterlogging, pest attack, disease or other factors.

4 CROP SPECIFIC INFORMATION GYRO is a plant growth regulator to be used in all varieties of winter and spring wheat, winter and spring barley, winter and spring oats, rye, triticale, durum wheat and grassland seed crops. GYRO acts by reducing crop height, which can lead to lodging control, which will result in protection of the crop yield and quality as the ears remain upright until harvesting. GYRO is an emulsifiable concentrate formulation containing 250g/L trinexapac-ethyl. 5 MIXING AND SPRAYING Spray Volume Apply GYRO in a minimum of 200L/ha of water. Use higher volumes in larger or denser crop canopies to ensure good spray cover. Spray Nozzles Apply as a MEDIUM quality spray (see BCPC guidelines), a pressure of 2-3 bar is recommended. Mixing and Spraying Half fill the spray tank with the required volume of clean water and start agitation. Add the required amount of GYRO and continue agitation whilst adding the remainder of the water. Ensure the mixture is thoroughly mixed before use and continue agitation until spraying is completed. Immediately after use thoroughly wash all spray and measuring equipment with water and a wetting agent. Take care to avoid overlap of spray swaths during application. This product is to be used only in accordance with the recommendations and instructions given on the labels provided with this pack.
