2 ABOUT US Established in 1974 by exceptionally foresighted Dr. G. P. Shetty, a Doctorate in Plant Physiology and Plant Nutrients. Our Group is one of the leading manufacturers and exporters of Bio-Organic Manure, Micro Nutrients, Bio-Fertilizers, Bio-Pesticides, Bio-Activators and Chemical Pesticides in India. All our Products available for Agricultural, Horticultural, Sericulture, Plantation crops, Fruits and Vegetable Crops are field tested and certified by various esteemed Agricultural Research Institutions and Universities of INDIA. Our Group consists of 24 Branches across India with employees.

3 OUR FOUNDER Dr. G P Shetty born in an agrarian family of Udupi district, Karnataka state in the year 1940, completed his schooling in his native place and then moved to Willingdon College, Sangli for his graduation and later attended post-graduation and doctoral programme in Plant Physiology and Plant Nutrition at Shivaji University, Kolhapur. The idea of path to progress embarked upon by Dr. GPS in spreading the message of scientific cultivation of crops through soil health management, crop nutrition and crop protection made even the State Governments and various research bodies to initiate action on integrated crop nutrition and crop protection management. Recognizing his immense contribution to sustainable development of agriculture, the Government of Karnataka bestowed upon him with Rajyotsava Award for Agriculture In addition, he is also the recipient of many awards conferred upon him by several organizations.

COMPOSITION It is fortified with neem cake, castor cake, pongamia cake, vermicompost and also enriched with millions of beneficial nitrogen fixing bacteria i.e. Azotobacter, Azospirillum, Rhizobium, Phosphate solubilizing bacteria and Potash mobilizing bacteria. It is non-toxic and ecofriendly. FEATURES BENEFITS Improves soil structure resulting in better root proliferation and also improves soil fertility. Minimizes the use of chemical fertilizers. The nematodes when meets the pest insect, it enters the body through openings along with associated bacteria which causes septicemia (blood poisoning). 45 OUR CSR ACTIVITIES KRISHI VIKAS RATH We have commissioned 17 numbers of Krishi Vikas Rath to educate the farmers on scientific production of crops at their door steps. Some of the objectives of Krishi Vikas Rath are: We meet the farmers at their doorsteps. We conduct trials and test the efficacy of new product at various Agro-climatic zones. We educate and advise farmers at their doorsteps on various aspects of sustainable agriculture like - Soil Mgmnt, Water Mgmnt, Crop Mgmnt, Pest Mgmnt, Nutrient Mgmnt, Harvest & Post-Harvest Mgmnt, Environment Mgmnt. We have collaboration with senior scientists and extension specialists of State Agriculture Universities, State Dpt. of Agriculture, and other premier research institutes.
