PRODUCTS Ethylene The Group owns the whole up and midstream polyethylene production chain. Our olefin plant came into production in 2012 with a total capacity of 2 million tonnes per year. The plant feeds not only our own HDPE, LDPE, and LLDPE plants, but also our domestic customers. In addition to ethylene, we have around 178K tonnes of C3+ every year and heavier products which are processed into propylene and other petrochemical feedstock. Below you can see a Production Process Diagram and an overview of the plants. LLDPE Unit LLDPE Butene HDPE Unit HDPE Ethane Olefin Unit C Ethylene LDPE Unit LDPE MEG MEG

HDPE High-density polyethylene (HDPE) is a thermoplastic material composed of carbon and hydrogen joined together forming high molecular weight products and is defined by a density range of g/cm3. Industrially, HDPE is synthesized from ethylene by a catalytic procedure. HDPE products are characterized by high tensile strength, good chemical resistance, coupled with higher service temperature limits. HDPE is also more durable and opaque and can tolerate higher temperatures mainly compared to LDPE. HDPE is basically used to produce high-performance pipe, chemical drums, general household, kitchenware and industrial bottles, oil bottles, injection-molded food containers, cable insulation, carrier bags, tanks for storing chemicals, food wrapping material, etc. Employing two individual plants, the groups produces a wide range of HDPE products with diverse applications leading to improve the quality of life. With total capacity of 300, our first HDPE plant came into production in Polymerc s second HDPE plant will start to produce various grades of HDPE with total production capacity of 175 in early In line with the production of these two plants, our two swing HDPE/LLDPE plants also possess the capacity to produce some other HDPE grades. In the next pages, detailed information of our LLDPE plants will be provided. Detailed properties of our HDPE products will be provided as follows. If there is any product you cannot find in our catalogue, please do not hesitate to contact us. We are fully at your disposal

LDPE Low-Density Polyethylene possessing a density range of g/cm3 has the most excessive branching. LDPE is synthesized from ethylene in high pressure procedure. Compared to HDPE, LDPE is more flexible and transparent and cannot tolerate high temperature. LDPE products are easily processed by most methods and have good strength and clarity. The major application of Low Density Polyethylene is general purpose film, extrusion coating, milk packaging, squeeze bottles, toys, carrier bags, high frequency insulation, chemical tank linings, heavy duty sacks, injection molding, wire and cables, gas and water pipes and others. Flexible packaging constitutes major part of LDPE consumption. We are proud of our brand-new LDPE plant, which came into production with one of the modernist technology in The plant produces a wide range of low density polyethylene products with total capacity of 300 KT per year including pipe coating, PE foam, injection and blow molding, insulation, etc. Our LDPE products are trusted by our customers worldwide to produce competitive products from liquid packaging, shrink films and bags to electrical cables and wire insulations. In the following, you can find more about our LDPE products

LLDPE Linear Low-Density Polyethylene is well-defined by a density range of g/cm3 and has a significant number of short branches. This gives LLDPE higher tensile strength and higher impact and puncture resistance than the LDPE. Linear Low Density Polyethylene is mainly used for plastic bags and sheets (where it exhibits higher impact and puncture resistance than LDPE), plastic wrap, stretch wrap, pouches, toys, covers, lids, pipes, buckets and containers, cables covering, and mainly flexible tubing. Producing Linear Low Density Polyethylene, the two plants came into operation in 2015 and Production capacity of these LLDPE plants is totally 600 KT per year and the products range from film and monofilament grade to injection and rotomolding. Employing two individual plants leads to flexibility in supplying a wide range of LLDPE products at the same time. Detailed properties of our LLDPE products will be provided as follows

Other Products As a global corporation active in natural gas-based products, we also produce Butene-1, Methanol, and Ethylene Glycols, described as below. Among the other prominent producers of ethylene products in the Middle East, we are the only one that has secured feedstock for its plants. Butene-1 Butene-1 is a colorless, combustible gas which is easily condensable under pressure. It is a linear alpha-olefin with the formula C4H8 and used as a co-monomer for production of polyethylene. In almost all our plants, we produce and use Butene-1 with a capacity of 60. Methanol Methanol is a good solvent, but very toxic, extremely flammable, hygroscopic with a wide range of applications in industry, such as formaldehyde production, MTBE, acetic acid, fuels, solvents, etc. This simple single carbon alcohol is a volatile solvent and a light fuel. Our plant has a nominal capacity of 1650 with Lurgi technology. It is still under construction and will come in operation in Ethylene Glycols Monoethylene glycol (Ethylene glycol) is a colorless, virtually odorless and slightly viscous liquid. It is soluble in with water, alcohols, aldehydes and many organic compounds. Ethylene glycol is used as raw material in production of PET, antifreeze in cooling and heating systems, softener in textiles, and also manufacturing plasticizers and polyurethanes. On a place of 7 hectares, the plant will come into production in 2019 and has a total capacity of 550 KT annually. Beside MEG, we will have DEG and TEG in our product group
