Quadro Stubble Cultivator

Quadro Stubble Cultivator The four bar stubble cultivator and deep soil worker 1 Double STS Roller The double soil-to-soil roller firms up the ground behind the tines to give good weed seed to soil contact and to aid soil weatherproofing. Self-cleaning the open U channel rings fill with soil and the friction between the soil in the ring and the ground keep the roller turning. The robust rings mounted on a substantial axle provide stability particularly important in stoney conditions. The Double STS Roller leaves a level firm finish making subsequent operations easier. 1 Double STS Roller 2 Even depth control 2 Even working depth The Quadro working depth is controlled by the Double STS Roller. The mounting arms have multi hole brackets that allow working depths from 5 25cm to be selected. This depth control method also puts the maximum load on the rollers ideal for an effective chit. 3 Adjustable Following Harrow For the optimum stale seed bed the Quadro can be equipped with one row of following harrows. The working effect can be adjusted to suit the conditions. The following harrow is equally suitable on ploughed ground when making a seed bed. 3 Following harrow adjustment

Optimum Straw Mixing: When min-tilling the demands on the cultivator increase substantially. The post harvest residues should be left in the topsoil strata and this requires constant working depths. Evenly mixed straw and stubble aid the development of the next crop. Compared to previous winged point cultivators the four bar Quadro leaves a smaller crumble ideal for a stale seed bed. Optimum Straw Mixing 4 Bar Levellers work with crossboards 5 Top mix points

4 Levellers The Quadro incorporated a dual levelling arrangement behind the last row of tines. First flat steel levellers even out the ridges left by the ties and then a row of crossboards in front of the DSTS roller break larger clods and firm the soil before the DSTS roller does it s work. The levellers are height adjustable allowing the correct position to be selected for the prevailing conditions. 5 Topmix Points We have developed the Topmix points to mix the straw. The two part winged point works together with soil guides to boil the soil so that the straw is fully mixed. The Topmix points offer three configurations. an exchangeable 80m point for deep working. the 310mm Topmix goosefoot point as an alternative to the exchangeable point for very shallow working. the combination of a 310mm wing mounted behind the 80mm exchangeable point for shallow working. the soil guides with left or right twist for good mixing. With the first stubble working the volunteers will chit. If needed a second deep pass can be made to either loosen the soil deeper or to further mix the straw. The point options allow the selection to suit all conditions. Top mix

Flat spun levellers and crossboards. Roller Double STS roller Ø 530mm. On Quadros with hydraulic folding wings the full working width can be used or by leaving the wings folded the 3.00m centre section can be used. This has the benefit of maximising performance over a variety of soil types or using larger or smaller tractors as available.

Air or hydraulic trailer brakes For machines with over 3000kg weight on the transport axle require brakes. For Quadros with working widths 4.00m 5.70m hydraulic brakes are standard with the option of air brakes available. Front Depth Wheels The wide front depth wheels with step less mechanical adjustment maintain precisely the pre-selected working depth. A scale in both wheels allow equal adjustment on each wheel. QUADRO 460 working at high speed on long stubbles Incorporating hugh amounts of straw is crucial for effective min-till farming. The QUADRO does this in one operation, incorporating straw and levelling the field. 04/08/9263 Your Dealer Landmaschinenfabrik Köckerling GmbH & Co.
