What is the SCR Heatime HR System? Boost your productivity and your peace of mind with the most comprehensive, standalone real-time cow health and reproduction monitoring system available. With its unique combination of activity and rumination monitoring, the SCR Heatime HR System enables you to quickly and accurately evaluate the reproductive, health, nutrition, and wellbeing status of your cows. With built-in advanced applications that provide additional timely and actionable insight, you can confidently make better-informed decisions about more aspects of your herd and farm management. You can boost productivity and reduce costs, and gain more control of your dairy farm operations. After one year with Heatime I m surprised, how fast our problem cows were pregnant we could drastically shorten our calving interval Heatime paid off for us Matthias Ludwig, Agrarbetrieb Am Bieleboh Beiersdorf, Germany 2

Key benefits of the SCR Heatime HR System Heat Health Calving Nutrition 3

Heat Why automated heat detection? SCR Heatime HR heat detection advantages Automated heat detection enables you to raise your conception rates with no need for visual observation or guesswork. You can reduce time and skilled labour requirements and reduce your calving interval, while reducing your dependency on reproductive hormones. In addition, you can reduce the number of days open, and grow and improve the genetic quality of your herd, ultimately raising lifetime milk production. Catch more heats and minimize false-positives. Using unique movement and movement intensity detection and rumination recording, the SCR Heatime HR System recognizes heatrelated behavior patterns (excluding truly silent heat), delivering exceptional heat detection accuracy, and recommendations on optimal AI timing. Why monitor rumination? Rumination is a proven direct indicator of cow well being and health. Dairy producers, veterinarians and nutritionists have long relied on cud-chewing as a key monitor of dairy cow health. Rumination levels should be checked consistently for early identification of disease. Early treatment of health issues can reduce the length of an illness and limit the amount of treatment needed. Why use SCR Heatime HR? Identify which cows are in heat Minimize false positives Improve conception rates Reduce veterinary and insemination costs Reduce your calving interval Improve herd genetics Improve milk production Reduce time, labour and cost 4

Health Group Routine Application This report highlights real-time irregularities in activity and rumination at the group or herd level that may indicate routine issues, feed and water supply issues, spreading illnesses, group panic, stress, or other disruptions to a stable daily routine. The alert is calculated based on a deviation in current data in relation to historical data and informs about the current status of each monitored group. Provides: Daily (24 hour) graph per group for each parameter: 2 weeks average ± STD areas. 2 weeks average group routine series. Current group data series (activity and rumination) this line is updated every time the report is refreshed or opened. The application indicates whenever the current data line is deviating from the average, which may indicate a potential problem. This allows you to react and take measures immediately. Check this report on a daily basis, especially when you are not physically present at the farm (using mobile monitoring). Whenever a planned action is carried out (such as treatment or barn service), check the recovery. If the system alerts, check the group to find the cause (panic, water supply or group mixing). Herd-average daily rumination 5

Calving ProCalve A new set of real-time alerts before and after calving time that provide farmers with unique insights into the calving period. NEW Pre-Calving Distress Alert Gain essential insights on cows experiencing unusual stress during calving NEW Post-Calving Distress Alert Minimize the impact of a calving disease with early warning of a post-calving problem Pre / Post Calving Distress: the system generates alerts for cows that are 260 days in pregnant and up to 5 days after reported calving. System lists cows that had a distress 3 days before the reported calving and up to 5 days after the reported calving, which is the period where the cow is exposed to higher risk. SCR Heatime Pro users will get a notification of distress through the distress report during the whole location. Distress (no rumination for a long time) is not a specific problem for calving only. Fresh cows monitoring: the report stores all the cows in the first 30 DIM, where the distress column shows the DIM and when the distress was identified (-3 <calving> +5) 6 Any cow recorded with distress, should get special attention for calving diseases, recovery and production curve.

Nutrition Insight into ration and nutrition issues at the group level enables timely attention to problems. Improve your nutrition strategy by quickly understanding how your cows react to ration changes. NEW Group Consistency Application Monitors and analyzes long-term rumination trends, and highlights any irregularities at the group level, like feeding changes, opening a new silage bunker, adjusting the ration, infiltration of rotten feed, and more. Valuable series for the daily rumination graph: Each point on the graph will be the group daily rumination average. The series provide the STD line of the above rumination series. The STD values represent the difference between the cow in the group and this can be interpret the feeding efficiency of that group: Offers insights into how feeding area changes are affecting cows; monitors and analyzes long-term rumination trends, and highlights any irregularities at the group level: Monitor planned and unplanned changes in the feeding area, such as opening a new silage bunker, ration/content changes, rotten feed, and more. Whenever the STD value (line) goes down, the cows rumination variability is smaller and the feeding efficiency is getting better. Whenever the ling goes up, it means the feeding efficiency is getting worst. As per current research: STD values below 100 are good, STD values above 120 are bad. Early detection of a problem and provides a perfect tool for recovery monitoring. Daily rumination range across the group, providing insight into the stability of the group. 7
