These countries include India, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, the PRC, Thailand, and Viet Nam. Carbon pricing is particularly important for Asia s largest emitters, the PRC and India in that order, which must substantially reduce coal consumption by 2030 to achieve their INDCs.
