5 The state of world fisheries and aquaculture Oceans contribute significantly to food security and nutrition for a global population expected to reach 9.7 billion by World per capita fish supply: 20 kg in 2014, specially thanks to growth in aquaculture Agenda for Sustainable Development: food security and nutrition as to ensure sustainable development.

20 Sanitary Program for Bivalve Molluscs The aim of this program is to maintain an opportune and reliable information system to allow timely decision-making regarding resources obtained from farming areas and natural banks and to ensure the extraction of safe resources.
