This session will provide an overview of the trade and agribusiness sector globally and in ACP regions. The objective of the working groups is to highlight business experiences and partnerships with farmers which could be transferred to other regions or scaled up, highlighting reasons for success, challenges overcome or inhibitors to growth. Workshop topics are not mutually exclusive but approach the issues of increasing private investment from three directions: value addition as an end in itself, trade on regional and international (principally EU) markets, access to finance.
