3 Crude Price Table COMPARISON Brent (USD/bbl) WTI (USD/bbl) Naphtha CFR FEA (USD/MT) CRUDE OIL PRICES MARCH HIGHER ON WEDNESDAY Crude futures gained sharply on Wednesday as market has refocused on upcoming US sanctions on Iran, shrugging off this year s largest weekly build in U.S. crude stockpiles. Brent futures gained by $1.49 or 1.76 percent, settling at $86.29 per barrel, while WTI futures climbed by $1.18 or 1.57 percent, settling at $76.41 per barrel. Prices gained on the back of reported declines in Iranian exports due to upcoming U.S. sanctions and uncertainty surrounding the ability of other major oil producers to make up for the loss. The strong gains came despite EIA data which stated the largest weekly rise of the year in U.S. crude inventories. The Energy Information Administration (EIA) in its report published on Wednesday stated that US Crude oil inventories rose by million barrels in the week to Sept. 28. That was compared to forecasts for a stockpile build of 1.98 million barrels after a build of 1.85 million barrels in the previous week. Supplies at Cushing has increased by barrels last week. The EIA report also showed that gasoline inventories fell by 459,000 barrels, compared to expectations for a build of million barrels, while distillate stockpiles fell by by million barrels, compared to forecasts for a decrease of 1.3 million.
