2 ARIMNET WP2- Preparation and launching of Joint Calls for transnational research projects Objective : Developing, implementing, monitoring, evaluating common joint calls for transnational research projects in the Mediterranean area. Challenge : For some funding agencies it was their 1 st participation to an international call. Learning and alignment (science / methods / criteria) were necessary. 3 Methodology of the call implementation 1. Identification of topics : Survey / country 2. Fund raising : Funding Agencies contracts and signature of memorundum of understanding 3. Preparation of the call documents, website platform for submission and evaluation of proposals 4. Evaluation process: contact external evaluators and compose a SEC with med scientists / final reports and ranking list 5. Proposals submission / Statistics about the call 6.
