Econoclave Integration Features The following photos are offered as comparison between ASC s autoclave and autoclave s from European suppliers (i.e. Scholz, Terruzzi, etc.) ASC s Econoclave features a fully-integrated system where all piping, valves, electrical conduit, and wiring is preassembled and secured to the autoclave during shipment. In this way ASC s autoclaves are 100% tested at our facility and need only be connected to utilities at the customers site. On autoclaves from our competitors (i.e. Scholz, Terruzzi, etc,), the labor and material to provide and install connecting piping, conduit, and wiring is the responsibility of the customer. Stands for valves and components are also required to be purchased separately at very high prices. The customer is forced to spend more than EURO 50,000 to complete the installation. See more pages for example photos Page #1

Econoclave 2.5M autoclave Here is a very similar autoclave on our shop floor. This unit is a 2.5M x 8M autoclave being shipped today to an Italian aerospace customer. Page #2

H-slot flow straighteners This photo shows a typical aerospace autoclave interior. Note that the front and rear of the autoclave have h-slot flow straighteners for unequalled flow uniformity and increased heat transfer to production parts. No other aerospace autoclave manufacturer has this feature. Page #3

Econoclave Cooling and skid This photo shows the 100% integration of an ASC autoclave. Note that the valves and piping are mounted on the autoclave and will remain during shipment. Also note that a rear skid platform is attached to the autoclave. This platform includes the cooling system, vacuum system, and control/power enclosure. All systems are permanently connected, wired, and tested. ASC is the only autoclave manufacturer that provides 100% integration prior to shipment. Page #4

Econoclave Cooling and skid This image shows the rear skid with all auxiliary systems fully connected both electrically and mechanically. Page #5

Cooling Tank and pump This photo shows the skid platform with the integral cooling tank (stainless-steel). It also shows the pressurization valves mounted on the side of the autoclave. Notice that the exhaust valve is connected to an exhaust silencer/sound-absorber which is standard on our autoclaves. Again, no customer interconnecting is required for any of these systems. Page #6

Pressure valves and silencer ASC s autoclaves come standard with proportional pressure control valves and integral exhaust silencer. We also have dual supply pressure attachments (Nitrogen and Air). Our competitors price the silencer optionally and it does not come attached and interconnected to the autoclave. These are all hidden costs that the customer must pay. Page #7

Vacuum Systems All vacuum source and monitoring/probe ports are fully connected and leak-tested prior to shipping autoclave. Each vacuum port comes complete with a computer-controlled VAC source valve, computer-controlled VENT valve, and resin filter trap. The system provides automatic leak-checks of parts prior to run for 100% integrity of part loads prior to cure. All of these functions meet and exceed the stringent requirements of Boeing D Autoclave Certification. All vacuum lines are stainless-steel for long-life. Compare this to competitor s vacuum systems which utilize inferior copper and plastic tubing for part vacuum. Page #8

Cooling valving Cooling valves are plumbed, wired, and tested prior to shipment. This includes proportional cooling valve and ASC s proprietary trim/air buffered cooling system. No other autoclave meets the cooling capabilities of ASC s autoclaves. Page #9

Vacuum pump If a pump or proportional reservoir is ordered, than it will be integrated and mounted on skid. Page #10

Control enclosure Control and power enclosure integrated and fully tested on skid. Page #11
