Received the reputed Alexander von Humboldt Research fellowship (Germany) in March 2007 to carry out a research project at Friedrich-Schiller University Jena from September 2007 to June Qualified the National Eligibility Test (NET), organized jointly by the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) and the University Grant Commission (UGC) New Delhi, in 2001 with Junior Research Fellowship (JRF). 3. Qualified the General Course on Intellectual Property in April 2008, conducted by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), Geneva (Switzerland). Research/ Editorial/ Press Achievements 1. Guest Editor: I have been included as a Guest Editor of the special issue entitled Spectroscopic Applications of Nanostructured Materials for Energy and Environmental Technology" that will be published in Journal of Spectroscopy in Distinctions: One of the research papers in Journal of Optics: Pure and Applied Optics (vol.9, pp , 2007) was chosen to appear in journal's "Highlights of 2007" collection. 3.
