3 Introduction This version of the document may be intermittently updated online with the latest information after the original release of SAP BusinessObjects Data Quality Management, version for SAP Solutions, XI 3.1 SP01. For the most recent version, please check the SAP Support Portal. Languages English only. Supported Operating Systems for SAP CRM, SAP ERP, or SAP R/3 4.7 Solaris SPARC 9 Solaris SPARC 10 Solaris Patches SAP Business Objects supports the installation of all Solaris patches as recommended for your SAP application. Specified Solaris versions have been successfully tested by SAP BusinessObjects. Compatible service pack releases of the specified versions will be supported as they are made available, but may not have been tested by SAP BusinessObjects. Exceptions in support will be documented. Minimum Hardware Requirements The hardware requirements are driven by the recommendations for the SAP application environment itself, and by Data Services Data Quality Management XI 3.1 (or greater). Please refer to the SAP application s Installation and Upgrade Guides for the SAP system requirements. Please refer to the Supported Platforms and User s Guide documentation for Data Services XI 3.1 (or greater, within the Data Services XI 3.n releases) for the recommended hardware specifications. Supported SAP systems With this release of Support Package 01; Data Quality Management, version for SAP Solutions, XI 3.1, now includes support for the following SAP application versions: SAP Application SAP Application Version SAP NW BASIS CRM ERP (ECC) 6.0 Enh Pack for Banking Services (FS-BP) SAP AG 3

4 R/3 4.7 x110, 4.7 x Support for and compatibility with SAP CRM 2007 (NW Basis 7.00) and SAP ECC 6 (NW Basis 7.00) continues to be available with the XI 3.1 main release of DQM for SAP Solutions. Required SAP Notes We recommend reviewing the following SAP Notes (SAP Service Marketplace > SAP Support Portal > Help & Support) to determine which may apply to your system and/or version(s): Collective note: Errors in interface for duplicate check BUPA_ADDRESS_CHANGE performs address save twice Postal Validation for Business Partner Address CRM WEB UI: Country gets erased on saving Postal Validation: Saving of correct address CRM WebUI : Country gets erased on saving Address validation: address not taken over from popup Address validation: address not taken over from popup (regarding double save) In the Account Identification, when trying to create and save a duplicate record, the save is not possible. A unique record, however, can be saved Account/Contact Creation: Address Validation + Direct Save We also recommend reviewing other recent SAP Notes that may have been issued, as occasionally a newer patch(s) may be issued that may also be relevant to Data Quality Management within SAP Solutions. Internet Browsers supported by SAP Please refer to the SAP Installation and Upgrade Guides for details on the browsers supported by your SAP CRM or ERP application, when on a Solaris operating system. Additional Software Requirements Other software that must be installed for Data Quality Management for SAP Solutions includes: Minimum version of Data Services Data Quality Management The version of Data Services Data Quality Management that is supported with this XI 3.1 SP01 release of DQM for SAP Solutions is: Data Services XI 3.1 SP01 (version ) o Or Data Quality Management Premium license, based on this version Or any Data Services XI 3.n release that was released after this SP01 became available 2009 SAP AG 4

5 o Or Data Quality Management Premium license The installation of Data Services Data Quality Management may exist on any operating system that is supported by that version of Data Services. Please refer to the appropriate Supported Platforms document for environment details for Data Services XI 3.1 SP01 or greater. Java Runtime Environment (64-bit) for DQM-for-SAP Solutions RFC Server The machine(s) on which you install the RFC Server(s) for DQM for SAP Solutions, must run the Java 2 Platform, Standard Edition, (J2SE), version 1.5 or higher. Note that an installable version of the J2SE is not included with this product. You must acquire, install, and run the J2SE independently of this product, and do so before the installation of the DQM for SAP Solutions product. Additionally, if you install the RFC Server on a UNIX environment, the installation is configured with the assumption that you will use the 64-bit Java runtime. If you instead use the 32-bit Java runtime environment you must use the 2.x 32-bit version of the SAP Java Connector (JCo) and remove the d64 option in our RFC Server startup scripts.
