2 Scania OnBoard Asset Tracking Solutions The Scania OnBoard telematics system has three core modules designed to manage and maximise the efficiency of your office staff, drivers, vehicle fleet and mobile assets: LGV driver and vehicle performance reporting, fleet management and tracking Remote Tachograph Download compliance module Asset tracking and management The driver and vehicle performance monitoring and remote tachograph download hardware is fitted as standard to all Scania vehicles * and can be fitted to other makes, providing a total LGV fleet telematics solution. This allows you to monitor how your LGV vehicles are being driven, how they are performing, where they are, where they have been and automatically keep your tachograph and driver card records compliant. * standardised on Scania trucks built after January Did you know All new Scania vehicles come with 10 years free OnBoard Monitor package providing a weekly update on vehicle performance. The remaining years are fully transferable to subsequent owners. Access to the OnBoard fleet management and asset management modules is through a single web login with no specialist software installation or set up required. 3 OnBoard Asset Tracking Scania OnBoard Asset Tracking solution has been developed to enable you to manage and monitor the live location of your major assets. Main applications are: Trailers Cars and vans Plant and machinery Vehicles that are required to have a Thatcham Assured Tracker Other valuable assets. Asset tracking offers 2 alternative state-of-the-art, hardware options: Covertly mounted, hardwired module with internal battery (up to Thatcham 6 accreditation) Portable, magnetic battery powered, no wiring and up to three years battery life between charges. Recharging is easy with the use of a desktop charger. 24 Hour security monitoring Asset tracking provides the highest level of security 24 hours a day 365 days a year, from our Thatcham TQA accredited control centre. All hardwired modules include battery back-up providing the ability to have instant notification of unauthorised movement of the asset. Nationwide installation network Fitting can be completed by our technicians at a specialist installation centre, your local Scania dealer or at your premises.

5 Reporting tools are customised to your operational requirements and priorities, providing automated reports for you, your team and your customers. Reports can be generated automatically at the time of your choosing. This reduces management time and ensures you can be flexible to your customer s needs. Reporting Examples of standard report options for the asset tracking module include: Journey, stop and activity data Timesheet Business and private mileage Reporting on specific groups of vehicles or assets to help you manage your fleet Speed warnings Geo-fence activity Activity data Routes taken with automatic location addresses System access System access is controlled through a tiered structure providing simple management of user access to specific functions and data, dependent on their role. Users have their own login credentials and activity tracking can be recorded by individual assets. Tracking drive your asset route from street level Vehicles or assets can be tracked giving you the latest position information, the system can be customised to allow you to use your own icons to differentiate between different types of assets. Historic positions can be tracked through a snail trail view showing you where your asset has been and the route it has taken. Aerial views of the tracking screen are available in a map format or satellite view, you can also virtually drive down the route your asset has taken at street level giving you an appreciation of the exact layout of roads or locations. The Scania OnBoard asset tracking system utilises Premium Google Maps. Scania Asset Tracking comes as standard with a European multi network roaming SIM, allowing assets to be tracked across Europe.

6 Geo-Fences The system allows you to create virtual perimeter(s) around locations. These geo-fences can be labelled to allow easy identification. notifications can be sent to your operation, your customer or selected third parties as the vehicle enters or exits these areas. Reducing administration, management time and improving customer service. There is no limit to the number of Geo-fences that can be set. CRM View - vehicle management This module enables the user to set and view vehicle parameters and reminders. Functionality includes: Programmable update intervals Track up to 3 temperature controlled areas within one trailer or body live with automated alerts if a temperature moves outside of a predefined range Door opening alerts Live tracking Historic routes and activity Internal battery level indicator The portable magnetic battery module allows simple transfer of trackers between assets without any specialist help.
