2 PSA09 Amendment November 2010 New MOU signed with the Cabinet Office (October 2010) and the new Public Sector customer value and benefits are available in the PSA09 Amendment as of November 1, 2010: Re-introduction of PSA09 Schedule 1 Subscription Enterprise Agreements: - Enterprise Products are heavily discounted for Subscription Agreements - Schedule 1 will be available for the duration of PSA09 - Most cost-effective way of purchasing Microsoft software - Inherent ability to right-size the software to the organisation - Enables organisations to transition more easily to the cloud New Public Sector Packages : - New Public Sector Packages based on supporting role types within Government - Packages support the Government aspiration of a standardised desktop to reduce ICT costs - Flexibility and choice have been retained whilst being simpler in design - CoreIO must be purchased across 100% of the qualified desktop estate and there is a new minimum of 50% of qualified users licensed for Microsoft Office - NOTE: The Buying Solutions packages that were available are now retired Cloud Computing Options: - Special Government pricing is available for BPOS* - Announcements will be made in due course for the release of Office 365 in H *NOTE: The additional BPOS discount is a Microsoft offer, not a contractual component of PSA09

3 PSA09 Amendment - Pricing Schedules Schedule 1 Enterprise Agreement (Subscription) The most advantageous level of discounts and concessions for customers for Enterprise products Applies to both Standard Microsoft Desktop Packages and the new Public Sector Packages Schedule 2 Enterprise Agreement (Perpetual) Perpetual Licensing discount for Enterprise products Applies to Standard Microsoft Desktop Packages only Schedule 3 Select / Select Plus (L&SA) Schedule 3 remains unchanged Ideal for low volume ad-hoc perpetual licence purchases with the benefits of Software Assurance Schedule 4 Select / Select Plus (L Only) Schedule 4 also remains unchanged Ideal for low volume ad-hoc perpetual licence purchases Schedule 5 Premier Support Services Unique set of technical support services from Microsoft: assistance in problem resolution; advice for service planning, risk and health assessments etc.

Enterprise Productivity Package Information Provides standard productivity tools for people who need to process, collaborate with and manage information, work in teams and make decisions. Professional Productivity Package Task Provides entry level productivity tools for people who require some capability or have light usage needs, but enables them to build skills and perhaps contribute more at the IW level later. Standard Productivity Package Deskless Provides low cost basic access to technology for public sector workers who do not enjoy the benefits today; such as , portal, identity etc. Deskless Packages
