In order to fulfill its commitment to customers, the Company uses its knowledge and experience of industry to stay abreast of the latest developments within its chosen field to continually improve its management and working processes. 4 President: Ultimate management responsibility for the company Provide leadership in: the creation of strategic, tactical, and financial plans; developing goals and measuring performance to the approved goals; organizational development; liaison to the public, government, affiliated organizations, and other stakeholders. Review and approve plans and budgets as part of the annual planning and budgeting cycle. Ensure that an annual plan and budget are prepared for and presented to the board of directors. Propose agendas for the board of directors reflecting issues, opportunities, and priorities. Hire, reward, discipline, terminate, and set the remuneration of all employees, in accordance with policy and/or approved budgets and recommendations from subordinate managers. Product Development Department Responsible for all aspects related to research, development, specification, implementation and support of SEER products. Research involves data collection and information gathering required to develop a model. Model relationships and algorithms are prototyped and requirements specifications are written. Implementation involves the creation of the software programs that embody the SEER products including design, coding, testing and reviews. Product development is also responsible for user documentation, customer support and ensuring that the services group is up to speed on new products and features. Monitor delivery of professional services to clients for quality, timeliness and profitability Manage development and delivery of SEER training. Ensure accuracy and quality of training materials. Manage and monitor technical support functions. Ensure that technical support issues are recorded, tracked and resolved in timely manner. 6 Develop and conduct internal training to develop Galorath s professional services capabilities Business Development Department The Business Development Department primary function is to establish and execute the strategies and tactics to obtain new business to achieve the company s revenue goals. The department function also includes marketing assessments to identify target markets, relationship marketing, lead generation and qualification, sales, customer and competitive intelligence gathering, and ultimately proposal writing. Furthermore, the department is also responsible for strategic alliances, partnerships and the development of new markets. Vice President, Business Development: Establish the company sales strategies and tactics Hire sales and marketing support staff Position Galorath as the leading provider of project/product cost estimation, planning and control software and services. Recommend and manage to department budget. Manage Sales staff, establish annual quotas and assist staff in closing new business. Manage Marketing/Sales Support staff and activities. Establish annual Sales and Marketing Plan. Financial & Administrative Department Provide internal and external financial reports as it relates to the company. Handle payroll processing including collecting timesheets and inputting into ADP system. Process weekly checks for reimbursement to employees and vendors. Handle security issues for the facility and personnel. Prepare and distribute software and training materials for customers. Provide support employee travel. Handle HR issues. Manage IT environment with support from outside consultant.
