Highlight important information by adding annotations such as text, pictures, colour shading and Microsoft Windows objects (Excel spreadsheets, AutoCAD drawings etc.). Gain total control over printouts: you define where you want the page to break; what you see on screen is what is printed; and you can automatically scale your project to a single page. Fix any mistakes multiple undos can be made even after saving the project and group editing is a breeze. PLAN AND MANAGE REPEATED TASKS Create multiple tasks per line on the bar chart, e.g. showing the build stages for one house/flat, or the procurement package lead times. This allows information to be presented in a very compact form. The complete line can be cut and pasted, saving time setting up a new project. When you need to see more detail, e.g. when updating progress, you can do this with one click of the mouse which will then open up the tasks onto separate lines. Spreadsheet columns can address data from individual build stages. Asta Powerproject is the software that is preferred by Mace. 6 ACCURATELY RECORD AND SHOW PROGRESS Record regular progress using coloured progress periods of your own creation. This lets you clearly see how much work was done on a task in each period. Information on how much progress was recorded in a specific progress period is kept, even when the task is completed to provide an unparalleled as-built record. Display the recorded progress percentage marked against the baseline tasks in a special Jagged Progress view. Ideal for those managers who don t want to show the effects on the forecast end date. MONITOR ACTUAL v PLANNED PROGRESS Take a baseline of the original project plan before work starts, as a record of what has been agreed contractually. As the project progresses, you can make as many baselines as you need to e.g. on a weekly or monthly basis. The baselines are a copy of the whole project and not just key data, for example, any changes to a calendar s working time can be demonstrated. This is vital should a dispute situation arise as it means you have an accurate record of exactly what happened. POWERFUL, TAILORED REPORTING Easy to produce tailored reports with relevant information for different audiences. For example, reports showing progress against the contract programme for clients, task lists for subcontractors, management reports showing expected completion dates, call-off reports for procurement, and progress reports highlighting delays that affect completion. Output reports to any Windows printer and in many different file formats including: HTML, MPX, WMF, XER, XML, etc.

7 FLEXIBLE, COST-EFFECTIVE LICENSING As an alternative to standalone licences, concurrent licenses are available for use on a local area network. Concurrent licenses significantly reduce the price per user, for example, a 1 user concurrent license will typically be sufficient for up to 3 occasional users.
