As a result, leadership decided to end the reporting period in November 2016 to ensure the final incentives reflect a fair inclusion of claims across payers for all organizations. 15 DECEMBER 28, 2016 New Login Security Instructions for Dashboard Users As of December 20, 2016, the University of Michigan Health System (UMHS) requires everyone who accesses UMHS-sponsored services to use an additional system of security when logging in. This requirement applies to users of MDC Dashboard. The additional system of security is called two-factor authentication, and it adds an extra step to your basic login procedure to ensure your information and the information you are accessing remains secure. Before you try the new login procedure, you first need to set up two-factor authentication. To do so, you need to follow the instructions in the Installing Duo and Using Two-Factor Authentication guide, which is located on the Support Page. After you complete these steps, you can then log into the Dashboard using the new system. 30 APRIL 25, 2016 Release 16.0 of the Dashboard Posted Today This release includes the following: Data Updates 1. Paid claims data through September Eligibility data through June Patients from the June 2015 attribution lists 4. An updated measurement period of July 1, 2014 through June 30, An eighth trend point on the Trends page (July 1, 2014 through June 30, 2015) 6. Improved the Risk Group assignment, reducing the patients in the Not Available category from 6% to 1% MCIR Data Issue There was an issue with incomplete immunization data for approximately 25% of BCBSM data. We were unable to obtain a revised file with the additional MCIR (Michigan Care Improvement Registry) data in time for the release. Because of this, you will see approximately 5% lower than normal rates for the Adolescent Immunizations measure and approximately 2% lower than normal rates for the Childhood Immunizations/Combo 3 measure. MDC is working to receive the revised file and will update these measures in the upcoming enhancement scheduled for early May. The incentives for these immunization measures will be calculated using the revised data. Added Risk-Adjusted ED Measures MDC added the following risk-adjusted ED measures to the PO Comparisons page and to the Utilization section of the Report Writer: ED Risk Adjusted Visits (per 1000 attributed patients) Adult ED Risk Adjusted Visits (per 1000 attributed patients) Pediatric ED Risk Adjusted Visits (per 1000 attributed patients) Note: These measures will be added to the Trends page and the Trends section of the Report Writer in a future enhancement or release.

This release includes the following updates: Data Updates Paid claims data through June 2015 Eligibility data through March 2015 Patients from the March 2015 attribution lists An updated measurement period of April 1, 2014 through March 31, 2015 Dashboard Additions Addition of the following measures to the Utilization page: Adult ED Risk Adjusted Visits Pediatric ED Risk Adjusted Visits ED Risk Adjusted Visits (combined Adult and Pediatric) MDC expanded the matching algorithm to address blank Payer-specific patient identifiers in clinical (EMR) data. The result is an increase in the number of clinical records included in measures, which may increase the eqcm and supplemental rates for clinical quality measures for some POs. Note: The Medicaid data for lead screening was not available for this release. To avoid additional delays we proceeded without this data. As a result, the Lead Screening quality measure will display 0 as the numerator and 0% as the rate. We anticipate that the issue will be resolved for Release 16.0, which is targeted for release in March Report Writer Updates Multiple entity selection is now available (depending on your access level). For example, users with access to more than one Practice can select multiple Practices to include in the same report.
