Customers Benefit Consistent, reliable and excellent delivery performance for domestic/ international projects and programs Centralised program management with local/global collaboration for local/global execution Single point of contact for management of the entire program

4 Professional services for automation projects Effective team structure and methodology It is important to establish an effective team structure, dependent on the nature of the project. The structure permits flexibility while defining clear responsibilities, and allows for the coordination of outside teams, such as production centers or third-party suppliers and partners. Endress+Hauser is an agile organisation with the local office taking full responsibility for the MIV engagement supported globally by the Project Office providing welltrained personnel and dedicated experts. Project management services are offered in accordance with Endress+Hauser worldwide Standard 201, ensuring a consistent approach both in Australia and internationally. Where specialist expertise is needed from outside Australia, Standard 201 ensures that international cooperation is consistent and standardised, and defines effective and proficient communication and collaboration. Instrumentation projects rarely occur in isolation. As an MIV, Endress+Hauser provide strong partnerships through an Open Integration Partner Platform (Mitsubishi, Schneider and Honeywell) and an alliance partnership with Rockwell Automation. Endress+Hauser utilises state-of-the-art tools for all phases of the MIV project, including a central engineering platform, application selection and sizing tools, documentation portals, electronic data exchange, computer-aided design (CAD) and electronic hook-up drawings. Customers Benefit Flexible project teams with clear responsibilities Expert support from people out of other entities e.g. the Production Centers or 3rd Party suppliers Organisational agility to deal with the level of project complexity

5 MIV Lifecycle Engaging an MIV involves contracting a single instrumentation specialist company to provide a total instrumentation solution for a project. Using an MIV provides a full instrumentation project lifecycle from FEED to operation a one-stop shop experience that is tailor-made to the project requirements. As an MIV, Endress+Hauser is a well-recognised instrumentation specialist, and a comprehensive service provider with a global presence providing all services on the MIV lifecycle, including detailed engineering design, procurement, commissioning, startup, training, and full instrumentation lifecycle support. Review In this process, the existing customer contract is reviewed with regard to the conditions which have been agreed. This is done together by the Project Sales Manager and the Project Manager. The review process includes technical review, logistic review and commercial review of the contract. It also ensures that the right competence on the Endress+Hauser side is in place, either someone in-house literate with contracts or an external partner such as a legal advisor. Engineering Endress+Hauser engineers are instrumentation specialists and subject matter experts that have access to highly efficient methodologies and tools, to perform instrumentation related engineering services in the most efficient way. Engineering data (instrument details, CAD, terminal connection drawings) are provided to integrate into the larger engineering environment. Engineering right from the beginning provides reliable data and reduces the change efforts. Engineering services available include application, instrument and network engineering. Customers Benefit Meet project expectations by designing your field networks right from the beginning Comprehensive network design, validation and training Streamlined device integration and commissioning Reduced commissioning time due to proper planning

7 Product Standardisation Standardising on instruments across a site reduces storage costs (fewer spares), reduces training efforts, and reduces maintenance complexity. Endress+Hauser will reduce the product variety by limiting the possible selections during instrument engineering. These limitations will be fixed in a project specific product catalogue or project instrumentation standard. Procurement and Logistics Endress+Hauser will provide all field instrumentation from its broad product portfolio as well as other technologies where needed. All devices within the scope can be included into the individual MIV packages such as engineering, product standardisation, procurement, commissioning and service. Using a single instrumentation vendor can provide many benefits, including volume pricing, reduced complexity, aligned network integration, a single point of contact, and simplified logistics Endress+Hauser can manage the entire supply chain process for consolidation, logistics, and clearance for the entire project scope including complete and detailed documentation. A harmonised logistic scenario tailor-made to the project requirements can mean diverse benefits such as customerspecific packing, marking, labeling and tagging, export control and customs clearances, as well as tight integration into the project plan. Customers Benefit Reduction of complexity Unified instrumentation Simplification of documentation Expedited project delivery Project specific logistic scenario Cost saving by providing expertise in GST handling Complete and detailed logistics documentation

8 Professional services for automation projects Smart Commissioning Endress+Hauser provides expert commissioning of process instrumentation (both Endress+Hauser and third party instruments and accessories) with a focus on start-up and configuration of the device. Dependent on project complexity, additional commissioning supervision and coordination can be included to smooth the integration of Endress+Hauser and third party products into the control system. This can include alignment of commissioning procedures, preparation of bulk integration, individual communication tests, management of software revisions and device drivers, etc.

9 Asset Management Endress+Hauser portal application provides access to project and product-specific up-to-date information and documentation, such as certificates, manuals, and spare part details for Endress+Hauser and 3rd party instrumentation. Asset information can be managed over the total lifecycle from engineering to MRO phases including maintenance and calibration schedules, requirements and documentation. Full traceability of the installed base makes audits easier, and devicespecific data simplifies that restoration of a device after repair or exchange. Customers Benefit Reducing maintenace cost Increased plnt availability and reliability Supports compliance with standards and regulations
