The Company Steriline is an expanding European manufacturer highly specialized in the production of complete lines for the aseptic processing of injectable products, supplying pharmaceutical companies worldwide. Founded in 1989 in the Lake Como area (Italy) where its headquarter and manufacturing sites are still based, Steriline is now operating in more than 50 countries around the world. Steriline can rely on a network of around 160-people, including both direct employees and external partners, and 40 sales representatives to ensure an effective presence in the global marketplace. Export is today representing over 90% of the company s total turnover with more than 700 Steriline machines already installed mainly in Asia, Europe and in the USA. First established as a manufacturer of Washing Machines and Depyrogenating Tunnels only, in 2007 Steriline launched its first complete line including Isolators as well as Filling and Capping Machines. 5 significantly evolve into a single-source supplier of equipment solutions for the primary packaging of injectable drugs, ranging from complete lines to standalone machines. Furthermore, as a testament to its strong commitment to R&D and technological innovation, in 2014 Steriline took on a pioneering role by introducing, as first in the aseptic processing market, a robotic application with no need of format parts and featuring a zero-loss philosophy. Nowadays, Steriline develops, manufactures and supplies a comprehensive range of solutions, including both mechanic and robotic applications for the aseptic processing of toxic or non-toxic products, liquid or powders, in vials, ampoules, cartridges or syringes. More specifically, Steriline complete lines cover all operations and types of equipment spanning from Washing Machines, Depyrogenating Tunnels, Filling and Capping Machines to External Decontaminating Machines and barrier systems such as LAF, orabs, crabs and Isolators. With a look to the near future of the pharmaceutical industry, where robots are increasingly defining new paradigms in manufacturing, Steriline is currently strongly widening its portfolio of robotic solutions to further help injectable drug manufacturers face the new global challenges effectively. Steriline continuous drive for technological improvements and strategic approach to innovation is witnessed also by a close collaboration with Fondazione Politecnico di Milano that the company has been cultivating as Institutional Participant since many years. This led Steriline to enter into a Politecnico di Milano s spin-off project on robotics and artificial visions, Steriline Robotics ( The company produces and supplies innovative Aseptic Compounding Systems for the preparation of injectable drugs in the Hospitals and Compounding Centers.
