6 Rules and Regulations for Exhibitors & Sponsors The exhibitor agrees, to show and advertise only products and services that are compatible with MSC Software and do not compete with MSC Software. Upon successful registration, the exhibitor receives an invoice for the registration fee. The exhibitor agrees to pay the fee within 30 days of the receipt of such invoice. Until 3 weeks before the start of the event the exhibitor may cancel the registration free of charge. The cancellation has to be given in writing. In case of a cancellation within 3 weeks prior to the start of the event or if the exhibitor doesn t show up, the exhibitor will be obliged to pay 100% of the registration fee. Without the Approval of MSC Software the exhibitor is not allowed to assign the stand dedicated to him to any third party, neither against payment nor free of charge. The exhibitor is liable for any damages to the property of the hotel, of its owners or managers that result from an act or omission of the exhibitor. The exhibitor agrees to protect, defend and hold harmless MSC, the hotel and its owners, managers, executive employees or directors, agents, employees, affiliated companies and subsidiaries against any claims based on damages that result from the use of the property by the exhibitor. The exhibitor s liability covers all losses, costs, damages or expenses resulting from or due to any accidents, injuries or other events relating to a person or several persons, including the exhibitor, his agents, employees and invited business partners, that result from or are due to the activities in and use of the exhibition area, the hotel or a part of it. In no event MSC will be liable towards the exhibitor or towards any other party for indirect damages, even if it has previously been advised of the possibility of such damages. In no event shall the total liability of MSC, in connection with the conference, exceed the registration fee payable to MSC by the exhibitor. MSC Software reserves the right to cancel or postpone the event. In case of cancellation the exhibitor will be refunded by 100% of the registration fee. Due to data protection reasons, MSC Software is not entitled to issue to the exhibitor a list with the complete contact information of all participants. But the exhibitor may receive list with name and company affiliation of the participants. 6
