Trade (non-profit) association founded in 1989, dedicated to helping European companies providing services, including consultancy, or supplying equipment in the field of remote sensing. Foster the development of the European Geo-Information Service Industry Represent European Geospatial-Information providers, creating a sustainable network between industry, decision makers & users

3 What does EARSC do? 1. Provide information to our members on programmes, policy and the sector 2. Maintain a knowledge of the industry 3. Promote the industry and its capabilities by: Advocacy towards policy makers on issues of concern Organising events offering networking opportunities Creating links between EO services sector & other business sectors Awareness & media: e.g. eomag!

23 EARSC Response On-line Services EARSC has established MAEOS as a new group within EARSC; open to all qualifying companies MAEOS group will oversee and establish the eomall portal No competition between eomall and members eomalltendered (through ESA) and winners selected. To contribute to and benefit from other initiatives, goal is to have the first working eomall release in line with operational DIAS (before end Q1 2018).
