Project ID: TO057 Title: 16 th Street Improvement Project (formerly Muni Forward 22 Fillmore Transit Priority Phase II) Advertise Date: October 2018 Estimated Contract Cost: $25 30M Description: Design and construct transit priority and pedestrian safety improvements for the 22 Fillmore route along 16 th Street, including transit-only lanes, transit bulbs and islands, new traffic signals, several pedestrian safety upgrades, and utility work. The project will transform and shape the 16th Street corridor by improving transit reliability, travel time, safety, and accessibility for all users while meeting the needs of current and future residents, workers, and visitors to this growing regional destination. Project ID: TO068 Title: L Taraval Rail and Overhead Rehab Control Phase I and Phase II Advertise Date: Phase I September Phase II Summer 2019 Estimated Contract Cost: Phase I $50 60M Phase II $70 80M Description: Replace approximately 23,000 track feet of existing tie and ballast paved track along the L Taraval between Forrest Side Avenue near West Portal to La Playa. Replace worn OCS special work, trolley wire and trolley poles west of 15th Ave./Taraval St. This project also includes MUNI Forward implementation of the L-Taraval Rapid Project which will implement engineering changes to improve safety and reliability, and reduce travel time between Ulloa/15th and Taraval/46th. Components include, providing traffic signals with transit priority, transit bulbs, pedestrian bulbs, adding or modifying boarding islands, adding or modifying accessible platforms, painting transit only lanes, and other related elements such as reconstructing curb ramps and relocating catch basins. In coordination with the project SFPUC will replace existing sewer with a twin sewer system; SFWD will install two parallel water mains, one on each side of the MUNI Tracks along the L-Taraval Line between Ulloa /14th Avenue and Taraval/36th Avenue. Public Works will be restoring the pavement at locations not covered by the track, sewer, and water replacement scope of work. Phase I locations include SF Zoo to Sunset Blvd. Phase II locations include Sunset Blvd. to West Portal.

13 Project ID: TF084 Title: Replacement of Manual Switch System Phase I Advertise Date: January 2019 Estimated Contract Cost: $2.500M Description: The objective for the Replacement of Manual Switch System Phase I is to replace five existing manual switches with new remotely operable switch units. The new units will be connected to Power Control Center via fiber optic network. New conduits and feeder cables will be installed from the switch locations to the last manhole. Project ID: FC067 Title: MME HVAC and Boiler Improvement Advertise Date: March 2019 Estimated Contract Cost: $2.500M Description: The existing heating boiler at the Muni Metro East Facility has failed and is out of its warranty period. The project will replace this boiler with a more modern, efficient, more technologically improved boiler. Also two roof-mounted air conditioning units have failed. These will be replaced with two more modern, efficient, more technologically improved units. Project ID: TF073 Title: Special Trackwork Advertise Date: Fall 2019 Estimated Contract Cost: $10.000M Description: Replace track infrastructure in the subway at Castro, Duboce, Van Ness and Embarcadero stations. This includes replacing the double crossover at Castro, track left and track right turnouts at Duboce, double crossover and storage track turnout at Van Ness, and double crossover at Embarcadero. The project will also upgrade the old tie support system to a new support system that is less vulnerable to water exposure.
