Relationship with work processes, forms and indexes. 4. Relationship with ISO9001: Record Matrix 1 Commentary on the business process diagram A. This diagram was first created in September 1995 as a basis of the quality system to meet the requirements of ISO9001:1994. B. The diagram reflects the basic operation of Phasor Design, which is to perform services to meet specific client requirements. This activity is organised on a project basis. Occasionally other tasks appear which do not have a specific client; however these tasks are addressed within the same project based system. C. Projects vary greatly in scope and size; the project system is deliberately made as general as possible to accommodate this range of client requirements. D. Projects are design and development oriented; production is not undertaken apart from prototype or experimental manufacture. E. The software lifecycle model is regarded as the basis for development of both software and hardware. However, note that clients typically require only a part of the lifecycle activities to be undertaken. F. The interconnection arrows should only be regarded as typical; in practice more complex inter-relationships exist.
