2 Description CPS has successfully built the UK s largest Microsoft Office 365 and Project Online based project management solutions practice. We are a long established and highly respected Microsoft Gold Partner with an extensive portfolio of high profile clients that is continuing to grow. Due to our continued growth, we are looking for a Solution Architect who is experienced in ensuring successful definition and delivery of Office 365 based solutions to our client base ensuring time, cost and quality expectations are successfully achieved. The focus of the role is to lead client engagements by providing technical thought leadership ensuring that the business challenges of the client are understood and that the application of Cloud technology is applied appropriately to overcome the challenges. It is our mission to continue growing our Office 365 portfolio, providing support and guidance to ensure clients are delighted with our service not only with specific enterprise solutions, but also with a keen eye to their future strategic needs. Further to this CPS and Microsoft are driving sustainment within businesses we work with, therefore business change management is another key aspect of our delivery. Specific Role Requirements An experienced technical expert with excellent consultative skills able to communicate with all levels and areas of an organisation. A self-starter, keen to further develop both their personal and the company s knowledge and skillset, with a make it happen attitude. A proven commercial awareness enabling the individual to grow the relationship with a client and identify new opportunities whilst they are working on client engagements. The ability to manage their own time within the commercial aspects of engagements to ensure that all activities are delivered to high quality, on time and within budget. Deliver projects based on a range of Office 365 and Azure based technologies to a broad client base, ensuring that the solutions take into consideration technical strategy, successful adoption, long-term sustainability and commercial awareness. Ensure that clients are delighted by their experience when engaging with CPS. Ensure that solutions are designed to the highest level and meet the expectations of clients in every respect. Broad knowledge of solution delivery patterns and practices, application lifecycle management approaches, with experience gained through all phases from design, development, test and release cycle to delivery and maintenance. CPS have clients across the UK and travel is required at times, with occasional overseas assignments. This is balanced by an ability to work from home for some of the time. Key Responsibilities Pre-Sales and evangelism Proven ability to demonstrate the Office 365 capabilities to prospective clients as part of the presales process Ability to contribute to sale activities such as writing compelling propositions and completing tenders Proven ability to estimate at a high level, the effort required to deliver an engagement Undertake requirements gathering activities Proven ability to facilitate requirements gathering workshops with C-level stakeholders downwards Proven ability to manage the expectations of clients involved in workshops Solution Architect (Office 365 Security) Page 2 of 5

3 Proven ability to document the findings of workshops in the form of current state assessments, vision and strategy recommendations Proven ability to write a solution design that can be handed over to a delivery team to implement Support the growth of knowledge and skills within CPS Evangelise the latest developments in the Azure and Office 365 platforms Build demonstrations of the newer technology Share the knowledge internally within CPS Deliver a professional, customer focused and high performing solution design service Ensure that all content provided to customers is on the highest quality and has been through the internal quality assurance checks before being published Promote CPS as an expert source of knowledge regarding the latest developments in Office 365 and related technologies through blogs, user groups, conferences, etc. Contribute to the internal processes and standards to ensure that the outcome of engagements is always improving As part of our Microsoft competencies we are required to have individuals who have passed specific exams. All employees are required to pass specific Microsoft exams aligned to their areas of expertise Essential Skills Expert understanding of Microsoft 365 and related technologies Build of secure, robust solutions using the following technologies Windows 10 Exchange SharePoint Microsoft Teams OneDrive Security and Compliance Information Protection Azure Active Directory Design of deployment and management infrastructure using Intune Demonstrate an understanding of the benefits of hybrid scenarios Identity and access management Demonstrate an expertise of the components used to implement identity access management Demonstrate an expertise of device and application management Demonstrate an expertise of the security considerations of the Microsoft cloud Demonstrate an expertise of infrastructure and networking considerations for working with the Microsoft cloud Expertise in best practice for providing secure environments for end user devices, network access, identity management and service management Desirable Skills Experience of change management and adoption Knowledge of how SCCM can be used to support and manage the role out of Microsoft 365, including Understanding of the wider Office 365 and Azure products Planner Flow PowerApps PowerBI Yammer Azure Functions Solution Architect (Office 365 Security) Page 3 of 5
