1 Introducing Lisa Twyford BACHELOR OF BUSINESS/COMMERCE (MONASH UNIVERSITY, 2002) BACHELOR OF LAW (ADELAIDE UNIVERSITY, 2009) Lisa is a leading expert in implementing business improvement and project management for a variety of small-medium sized companies including: Elders, Elders Bank, Minter Ellison Lawyers, SACA, Transurban, SA Power Networks and SA Water. Her work comprises of delivering complex business change projects on topics such as customer relationship management, data warehouse, signature retrieval, retail pricing models, mergers, project management methodology, franchise management and infrastructure project support. In 2003, after many years living overseas, Lisa returned to Australia to finish her degree in Business/Commerce (much to the surprise of her family and friends) and in 2008 completed a Law degree. She is also a Certified Practicing Manager and Prince2 Practitioner, adding to her decade of experience in the project industry. Lisa is also a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD) and a passionate Councillor for Women in (WIPM) Lisa is also a regular contributor to the speaking circuit, including appearances at: Showcase (Adelaide) AIPM National Conferences (award received 2010 for best presentation on Does a Office Value for Money? ) PMI (Adelaide) Changes and Challenges Conference (Business SA) Lisa has been a regular speaker at WIPM events over the past 3 years and is a sought after facilitator and mentor. During Lisa s career she has received awards in leadership, excellence and professionalism, is zealous about project management and business improvement and her ultimate career quest is to: challenge the status quo and hopefully persuade others in business to do the same. Lisa brings to the team experience in strategic planning, process improvement and project management specifically leading, managing and implementing both complex and simple projects. Strategic Planning Strategic Planning is one of Lisa s core skills and has expertise in the key components being, vision, mission, values and strategy. Having recently work with some of the state s leading corporations, Lisa assisted with moulding future models and concepts to ensure goals, objectives and targets were not only met but exceeded. Ensuring a platform was developed for future short term and long term goals. She has extensive experience applying problem solving and decision analysis methodologies. She also utilizes Kaizen continuous process improvement approach to all processing situations. She is able to clarify, measure and analyse processes to recommend improvements based on business requirements. Lisa has a proven track record in planning, implementation and monitoring of process improvements. She employs a consultative approach enabling clients and users to be involved in improving the effectiveness and efficiency of their processes, while being guided by a process specialist.
