Change Management o Engaged in Change Management with each client o This includes being a part of the initial Change Control design process, ensuring the correct people are at the table, this includes downstream/upstream applications that will be effect by any change made in Cerner. Assessing current state o Identify departments/clinics in scope for project o Arrange site visits for each hospital department and/or clinic that will be going on Cerner o Document findings, identify redundant or conflicting processes, start to look for key changes that can be made for future workflows and processes o In the past utilized Visio to document current state, but have moved to Cerner s new Model Methodology to capture these workflows o With documented information, present to the client in face-to-face meetings with the goal of working together to streamline processes, improving workflows and incorporate best practices.
