1 Curriculum Path & Training Guidelines Intergraph PP&M recommends that (SPI) users select one of the following training tracks described below. 1. New User Track For people interested basic software usage ranging from data entry to reviewing options. Useful information for everyone whether they work in the shop or Engineering office. Windows and Knowledge for Users 2. IT/IS and Systems Administration Support Track For people interested in setting up databases and managing the application more from systems perspective. Database engine and Server Operating System Knowledge TINT1003 Installation and System Administration 3. Super User / Domain Administration Track For those interested in SPI domain setup and configuration. Also those supplying first line support and report customization. for Users (Recommended) TINT1003 Installation and System Administration TINT1004 Customization and Data Management Advanced Wiring and Reporting 1

5 Installation and System Administration TINT1003 This course is designed for IT specialists and support personnel who are responsible for installation and system administration of. In this course, students will learn software and hardware requirements, system, supporting RDBMS installation, overview of database structure, database maintenance and overview of customization. In this course, students will learn use of new features as well as ways to customize the Report Generator (formerly Enhanced Smartloop, or ESL) output.
