Infor TechEd for Infor M3 will be held September 4 6, 2017 at the Elite Hotel Marina Tower in Stockholm. 5 User Productivity Track Monday, September 4 10:30AM 12:30PM USER PRODUCTIVITY OVERVIEW With a focus on the Xi user interface options available for M3, this introductory session will discuss the main characteristics, capabilities, and options for improving the navigation in M3 using the H5 environment. This session will explain the main characteristics, capabilities, and options for extending the usability and functionality of Infor M3 without modifying the business engine code. Topics to be covered include: How to use Infor Enterprise Search Widgets such as M3 Information Monitor Pre-defined mashups Event-based alerts Ad-hoc reports This session will also introduce the Xi Platform and explore Infor Ming.le You can look forward to discussing home page widgets and H5 personalization and extension using the Mashup SDK. This is the recommended starting point for those looking to attend additional User Productivity sessions. Sven De Langhe, Torbjorn Karlsson INFOR ENTERPRISE SEARCH (IES) AND HOMEPAGES IN H5 Explore the ION Infor Enterprise (IES) Search functionality and setting up the Startpages in the H5 User Interface. Learn how IES will allow you to navigate, drill back, build predefined search functions, and much more. Understand the added value of setting up your startpages to better master your daily routines. This session will enable you to:: Review Infor M3 field and table name in list views and panels Use the Infor M3 Metadata Publisher to retrieve information Change the name for your user ID and define your user ID as responsible for a number of item records Use narrow-down and key searches to quickly and smoothly find the relevant information Capitalize on the power of alerts and their drill backs via Monitors and Charts from either the Xi platform or the H5 startpage to let the system talk back to the end user Explore the possibilities of the M3 Information Viewer to bring back data from several tables into one single widget Use narrow-down macros to find all order (lines) entered this calendar month By the end of the session, you will be familiar with the details and functionalities of narrow-down searches, simple search and advanced search examples, the process to activate enterprise search, and user-friendly key and multi-level key searches. 5

6 Tuesday, September 5 INFOR MING.LE AND INFOR DOCUMENT MANAGEMENT (IDM) Explore the functionality available in Infor Ming.le and Infor Document Management (IDM) when navigating in M3. During this session, you will learn about functionality to empower your user productivity platform and make navigation more efficient. Discuss how mashups can add value to your M3 solution. Sven De Langhe, Markus Mild Wednesay, September 6 INTRODUCING A BRAND NEW INFOR APPLICATION FOR BUILDING APPLICATIONS As a follow-up to Inforum, this session will be dedicated to introducing a brand new Infor application that will provide new and powerful capabilities in the H5 User Interface. You will learn how to: Create a new custom user interface to existing functionality Work with the visual editor to create the solution Connect the solution to existing API Include information from other sources in the solution Publish the solution so it can be used by certain roles in Mingle. Explore the fundamentals of extending your M3 solution without changing your standard applications. This session is the recommended starting point for those wishing to attend the Extensibility track.
